We had the most wonderful Christmas dinner at North and Common. The food was absolutely stunning. And so plentiful.Prawns,oysters, Turkey, lamb. All incredibly well prepared. In fact the lamb reminded me of the lamb my mum used to make, which really made my Christmas day. The staff were wonderful, as was the service. We are really sad to discover that the restaurant is closing and being replaced by an events venue. Such a shame, as it wasa really special place.

We had dinner. Aesthetic of restaurant was lovely. Great food but took 1 hour to get a bottle of wine. Had already had entree before even 1 drink was served. Staff that were there were good but there really wasn’t any. There was 1 bar person for whole restaurant including a big function. Crazy. At $750+ for 4 ppl service should have been much better. Majorly under staffed. For the price it was very disappointing. We found out it was the last night ever they are opening as a restaurant other than functions. Not surprising they are shutting.

Booked for 9:45 only to be informed that the kitchen closes at 10AM!?! Stupid. We did not keep our booking. Chose to go to an alternate - location.

I booked the tour dinner. Nowhere did I see it say that the dinner would be a smaller menu than the normal. You get to pick a small plate and a large. I ended up with a few shredded carrots and 4 pear slices for the small, and a loaf of dry chicken and a handful of artichokes for the large. I then went and found a pub next door to have dinner at.

Attended on steak night, steaks were excellent including the sauce. Wine was paired perfectly with the steak. Great atmosphere & ambience, will be back again.
