Simple local Italian with ocassional lapses in service and a few disappointing dishes. The veal Milanese was tired and over cooked in our case but the pasta and fish were excellent on a busy night. Useful local drop in

the food was excellent and the staff were very efficient and friendly , the only thing we found was a small bottle of prosecco was nearly £10.00 which we found very pricey , our fault for not looking at the price list before ordering, apart from that everything else was excellent

They are definitely trying to produce better food than the standard Italian chain restaurants. Starters of chicken livers and portobello mushroom with goats cheese were well made and presented. There was a disappointment with mains as they had run out of veal and also tuna steaks, so we opted for pizza and sea bass, which were OK. Wine was reasonable value compared to most restaurants. Ambiance was pleasant and service was efficient and friendly.
