Over dit restaurant

  • Juweeltje in de wijk
  • Geweldig voor brunch
  • Geschikt voor groepen
Tucked into one of Portland’s beautifully restored industrial buildings, Olympia Provisions Southeast has grown from establishing the city’s first salumeria to being a destination for refined, European-style dishes. Our menu here is guided by the capable hands of Chef Matthew Jarrell, and reflects an innovative approach to the traditions of rustic Spanish and Mediterranean cooking. In combining these methods with the clean, bold flavors of the Pacific Northwest, Jarrell's dishes highlight the locally-sourced meats and seasonal vegetables you’ll find on his menus. Enjoy in our main dining area or indoor patio.

Nothing bad, just nothing special either. Very weird they include a gratuity charge for parties of 1 or more and include a health and wellness fee as welll in addition to the 20% gratuity. I’m a heavy tipper, but won’t do it if they are just adding it automatically (and yes I know you can waive it), but then the customer is the jerk. Wouldn’t go back.

Had no idea OP did brunch on the weekends, what a lovely discovery - the pancakes are out of this world. Our server Karen was a delight (as always), she makes any dining experience something truly special. We will be back!

Olympia Provisions has remained a favorite of mine for a long time. Every dining experience has been positive. I've eaten both lunch and dinner there and strongly commend their different menus. Like any restaurant trying to please a wider audience, the menu goes places unexpected or, perhaps, unnecessary. Meat is obviously their strength (but they are definitely not a steak house), so I would encourage choosing where they are strongest; their charcuterie boards certainly come to mind. I'll add that their salads are quite good and that the bar service has never disappointed, especially if Amaro is your thing. Really, this is one restaurant worthy of trying (and then frequenting).

Fabulous food, amazing octopus dish, halibut and fagioli, butternut squash soup all exceeded expectations, full of surprise tastes, raspberry cheesecake and chocolate torte were also above the norm even for good restaurants, setting was cool too, and great service
