Join us for a Thanksgiving Feast at Ox & Ocean! Executive Chef Alex Bollinger presents his take on Thanksgiving with the holiday favorites you crave and a few of our favorite ocean delights. Adults-$140.00 and Children 12 and under -$60.00. All checks will include a 20% service charge. See the full Thanksgiving Buffet menu in the event images. Thanksgiving Buffet Highlights: Carving Station: Prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream, plus turkey with cranberry chutney and gravy. Raw Bar: Shrimp cocktail, snow crab claws, oysters on the half shell, and smoked salmon. Breakfast: Eggs Benedict, applewood-smoked bacon, chicken apple sausage, berry blintzes, and King’s Hawaiian French toast with Nutella and bananas. Omelets & Chilaquiles: Eggs your way and chilaquiles with red or green salsa. Entrées: Striped bass piccata and braised short ribs with red wine jus. Sides: Traditional sourdough stuffing, candied yams, honey-glazed carrots, maple bourbon Brussels sprouts, green bean casserole, and country-style potatoes. Salads & Cold Station: Cheese and charcuterie, grilled crudités, Caesar salad, and wedge salad. Carson, the manager, managed to save this review after comping the food that was taken away after we asked it stay while we walked a few feet away to watch the sunset.

The service was horrible. We also went for lunch and then they told us they only have the brunch menu on the weekends. The brunch menu is not good. Only really if you want breakfast. The waiter was beyond bad. We waited to order the food came cold and then couldn’t get the check because he was off chattering. We’ve been twice once for dinner which wasn’t bad. We have a place in Oxnard. So if the food and service were really good we would be there all the time But it is sooo disappointing to have a terrible waiter and the prices are high. We won’t be back

Ox and Ocean was a great night out. The food was excellent, and the hostess seated us early, which got the evening off to a smooth start. The staff let us relax and enjoy the night without rushing us. We'll definitely be coming back!

This is the only fine dining choice in Oxnard, which isn’t a very big town, and is also attached to the hotel here. It looks pretty, and has some nice ambience, but you’re going to be surrounded and constantly passed by hotel guests, pool goers, people renting bikes/surf boards, etc. The service was nice enough, but painfully slow. We saw our waitress maybe 5 times in the two hours it took to get to the check. The food was good, and high quality, but as with everything tied to a hotel, double the price I could get anywhere else. The outside seating is nice being so close to the ocean, but there’s a terrible mosquito issue in the area. It may be worth the extra 20 minutes just to go into Ventura and find something.

The food was delicious. I will say the items we wanted to order were sold out and we had to change our selections. The restaurant and hotel ac was not working at the time so it was uncomfortable and warm. They charged our table an additional gratuity without warning us. It was 4 adults and 3 children and they listed us at 14 so they could add on a 20% tip without informing us. I have no problem paying a tip, however the service was slow and the food took about an hour to come out. They also charged an additional fee for adding on another serving of the pork buns. Overall, it was a decent experience but when your service is not forthcoming it will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
