There may be nothing that brings people together as often as food and drink. A daytime affair, The Restaurant serves weekday breakfast and lunch, weekend brunch, and afternoon tea, where guests may be seated in an art-filled dining room with an open kitchen or the sunlit Conservatory, complete with creeping vines and a retractable glass roof. Showcasing continued attention to detail, the menu consists of fresh, seasonal, signature dishes, complemented by an array of premium coffees, teas, and cocktails for a new translation of the classic bistro.

The food took forever. We order taco fish and a burger and we wait more than 40 minutes. The food was delicious, though

Always an elegant space for lunch especially for a special occasion. The food is consistently great quality, with fresh creative ingredients. The outdoor patio is perfect this time of year filled with lush greenery and a fountain reminiscent of what you can find in most plaza in Europe. The issue is always the time it takes the food to arrive at the table. It is either way too fast to enjoy or extremely slow. I would ask the waiter upon sitting how the kitchen is doing so that the meal can be timed appropriately. That said be flexible when you arrive. On this last occasion our reservation was at 1:30. Our table was not ready until 1:45 and we did not finish until close to 4pm. Luckily we were in no hurry.

This is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant. We were seated in probably the worst location of the entire place, right next to a service door where the servers picked up their cocktails from a bar that was on the other side of the door. Also right next to a bakers rack that held pitchers of water and glasses for the servers to fill and bring to the tables. ALSO next to the computer stand where the servers put their orders in and processed their checks for the tables. In other words a very congested area where there probably shouldn't even have been a table. Our server was very nice, just so slow. It took about 25 minutes just to get the latte I ordered, and the food took what seemed like forever. The whipped feta appetizer was good but there was about 1 whole tablespoon of feta smeared across the entire plate. It seemed like a very minimal amount on the plate but what was there tasted great. The biscuits and gravy were just weird, they just had an off taste. How do you mess up such a simple dish as biscuits and gravy. We couldn't even finish it. The french toast was excellent, it had a tasty crust, delicious fruit on top, and the serving was generous. Overall, not a great experience. We thought it was overrated. The location was beautiful but the food and service not stellar for what ended up being an $80 breakfast for 2.

Although we had a reservation for 4pm, we had to wait 15 minutes to "clean a table." Meanwhile, 2 couples arriving after us were seated upon arrival. No explanation offered when I asked other than they "had to clean a table." When we were finally seated, there were several clean tables available. Not impressed. It was a bit hard to our waitress's attention.
