Disappointing start - when our on-line booking hadn't made it to the restaurant, but was not an issue and a table arranged immediately. Steaks cooked to perfection - but missed my French mustard! Only English available. One good dessert, the other a little disappointing. Really good coffee. Staff friendly and efficient

We took our two sons and their girlfriends to celebrate my 50th birthday! We had a wonderful evening, our sons had taken a birthday cake (which was a suprise) and when they brought it out the staff also sang 'happy birthday' which was lovely! The decor etc was wonderful and it was nice to sit on the comfy sofas having a cocktail before we were shown to our table. We will definately be back!

Food was great, service very friendly but not intrusive. Expensive but we knew that before we came - good for a special occasion but couldn't afford to come too often - once every couple of years is about right.

Interesting ambience - obviously sells on it's individual style and to be fair, the cocktails are fabulous. However the food is dreadful! I had the burger which was a dry, charred little patty, my partner had lamb and again shrivelled and chewy. All round we thought it was very poor and exceptionally over priced!! Service was also poor - 2 young girls who didn't know what a brandy glass was and also very very slow at clearing the table, bringing dessert menus etc. I had rung the restaurant earlier to notify them we had a birthday celebration for a 9 year old - I then had to retell the staff 3 times at the restaurant before we got a small cake and candle (charged, of course!). Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go again.

We first came to Panama Hatty's probably 20 years ago when our children were young - always found the experience very good, great food and kids really enjoyed themselves. We returned recently with our youngest son ( now 26 !!! ) and found the whole experience still just as good - well done !!

Lovely decor and good atmosphere. Staff very polite and service very good. We were put next to a large group of girls which wasn't the best place to sit considering we were a couple. It seemed they had tried to fit too many tables and chairs into the room. We were very close to other tables. Food was good.
