POV: this is what a perfect summer night in Chicago looks like ✨🥂 We spent the evening celebrating James Beard Awards weekend with stunning Gold Coast views at @pandanchicago , handcrafted cocktails, a live DJ, and even a custom perfume-making experience with @veilperfumes . The passed bites were just as impressive. Binchotan steak skewers, pork lumpia, fresh oysters, and crispy pork belly bao buns. The steak skewers were definitely the standout of the night. For cocktails, we loved the “Not Your Average Float,” made with Ron Zacapa, amaro, sarsaparilla, tiki bitters, and pandan foam. It had nostalgic cola and root beer notes with a sophisticated twist. The signature pandan cocktail was another favorite. They’re serving up some tasty asian inspired cocktails and tapas plates with a VIEW 🙂‍↕️ Would highly recommend their lobster dumplings, crispy tuna bites, and crispy pork belly bao. Located on the 18th floor of the @viceroychicago, this beautiful space offers breathtaking views, incredible craft cocktails and tasty Southeast Asian-inspired small plates. We enjoyed everything we had and it was hard to pick our favorites from the menu. Some highlights include the sweet corn tempura, lobster dumplings, thai fried chicken, fried pork belly bun, lamb ribs, and nori fries. Don’t forget to try the Parched Puffer and Red Panda cocktails.
