Maybe it was just an off day. The bartender was very nice and the staff was very nice. The drinks were not worth the money with the taste. The music was great. I could go back for just the live music and maybe not the mixed drinks just regular. They seem to have a good group of regulars that came in which made it difficult to interact with others because it seemed like everyone knew everyone even the bartender.

Decided to try this black owned business during restaurant week. Good playlist. Everyone was very welcoming and warm. Symphony, our server was fantastic! Drinks were great. Total bill was $261 for 4, not bad. Each entree came out one by one, and lukewarm at best. The steak bites were actually cold. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Made a reservation for 11:30am on 7/5/26. When I arrived the doors to the establishment were locked, no one answered the phone that they have listed of +1 (410) 941-9442 which I called 5 times. It is considered black owned and I tried to give “my people a chance “ but they definitely disappointed on my anniversary. Sat in my vehicle an extra 30 minutes past my reservation time and came back to see if the doors were opened and they were not. I think what makes this even more unprofessional is that you can’t even answer your phone when someone calls 5 times. I highly do not recommend this establishment.

It could be a great experience but there is one bartender who makes drinks two people who stand next to him and watch people at the bar eat and converse and it makes it very weird. The bartender serves food and takes drinks. We waited a long time to get service because of the bartender and a large group who arrived at different times. Drinks were almost like shots. Not really mixed well It has potential to be nice, maybe an off night but this wasn’t a good experience for me and my family. Food was ok, chicken was overdone. Salad came out with wrong dressing.

A friend of mine decided to check out Papillon cocoon just on a whim. I must say we were pleasantly surprised the food and the drinks were both excellent as well as the ambience. We’ll go back again!

Cool to pop in but not to plan a birthday celebration which is why I was there. Definitely a sneakers/jeans vibe. The videos on IG are misleading, there is nothing fancy about this spot. The crab dip was awful, it was mushy and fishy. But, the fried shrimp were good. I give PC 2.5 out of 5 stars.

They bit off more they could chew we got there 9:30 good didn’t get to us until after 11 never received desert mashed potatoes was instant for the price I spent I could have went to a upscale restaurant and still spent less with great service

Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had in any establishment! Positively awful from start to finish. I don’t know how their reviews were so high on all platforms, but this nearly ruined my entire Valentine’s Day. Luckily we were able to finally get out of there before just before midnight and made it to a place that actually knew what they were doing. $200+ for mediocre food in a hot and stuffy cramped hole in the wall, with small plastic cups, cheap plastic cutlery, horrible seating arrangements and terrible service on top of that. The saddest part was seeing couples come into the front door with hope on their faces and seeing the joy melt away as they looked around to see the set up. So many couples had their Valentine’s Day dinner ruined by their experience here. Some couples shared they had an even worse experience than us if you can believe that. I feel duped, as the advertising for the overpriced experience was not at all what we were sold. The experience was prepaid (plus gratuity), so we couldn’t even leave once we got to the venue and the musty smell hit us. The entire staff was wholly incompetent. The manager/hostess was running around like a chicken with their head cut off the whole night. The servers were completely incompetent and unprofessional. It felt like these people were just found on the street and asked to come work in a restaurant. This whole experience is a prime example of why Baltimore has such a bad reputation for being without class.
