   My wife and I were excited to give a new place a try and we were so glad we did. The food from Patagon was absolutely delicious—simple, flavorful, and perfectly done. We’d give the waitstaff 5 stars as well. Very friendly and helpful.

   From the moment we arrived the service was spectacular. The food had amazing flavor. We enjoyed the duck entree, a pasta entree and crispy potatoes. All three items were great. The beer and mocktails were also very tasty. The only thing that needed improvement was the dessert item. The desert was an apple crisp with icecream, and while tasty was very average.

   Went for the $65 Monday special for two with a bottle of wine. Seemed too good to be true. It was. The choices were a veggie dish or tuna. At an Argentine steak house? We passed and got the special buffalo ribs. They were so overcooked that they tasted like sawdust. We complained and were not charged, which was good of them. But, it was a disappointing experience overall.

   We were not served water or seen for fifteen minutes. Our food was cold. The lobster spaghetti lacked lobster and when ask about it the server literally said it was lobster juice. They also served the wrong wine pairings. The decor was bare bones and didn’t feel Argentinean at all. The good part was the manager recognized how poor the service was and how bad the food was. He had comped our wine prior to ordering food. He immediately gave our money back when we stated we were leaving after realizing how bad the food was. Don’t go there for Valentines Day!

   Service and wait staff was way above average; lamb ribs were phenomenal; crab empanadas were kinda meh; duck was okay; steak was over cooked, dry, and not value for dollar...we won't be going back.

   Food was absolutely mediocre, although the service was good. Our steak was 80% fat. Inedible. We received 20% off because our dishes were totally different that the couple at our side, who requested same menu that us. Manager gave us 20% off but there was a 20% mandatory service charge. I’m Argentinian and this is NOT ARGENTINIAN FOOD. I don’t want to comeback again.

    Very noisy environment with live music which drowned out the possibility of enjoying conversation. Fixed New Years Eve dinner with four choices for appetizer and Entree, two selections for desert. The menu online for this dinner had different selections then what we received in person. The delicate squash salad was very good. The scallop crudo was almost good, but the citrus sauce was very acidic and bitter. There was too much sauce which drowned out the other flavors and nothing balanced it. The Porchetta was decent but not great for $65. The Ribeye wasn't a Ribeye, it was a rare prime rib, with no options to get it made any other way. Both deserts were sugar bombs and not balanced. Bread pudding also had yellow raisins, which was not listed in the description. Unfortunately this was way overpriced. Considering they only had a small selection of dishes to make, you would think they could make them very well.

    Really enjoyed the overall experience. Very friendly staff and the food was great. We were able to sit and watch the chef prepare our food and the care was self evident. Specialty cocktails were excellent too.

    The food presented well and was good. The service was friendly and helpful. The cost was overpriced for what we got. I say this because this was a Christmas Eve meal which should be generous in quantity, quality and memories. It was not. it felt more like a cookie cutter beef house putting out cookie cutter fare and cookie cutter portions. We have gone to Christmas Eve dinner more than once in Seattle. Each place was unique, pricey and wonderful. We left filled with the joy of the holiday and sometimes take home boxes of food. Because of the experience, I tipped the wait service very well. So we came to Patagon with that expectation. And were disappointed. It was not a memorable Christmas Eve meal experience. I still tipped the wait staff very well. It was not their fault.

    We came to Patagon after a long day of pre Thanksgiving shopping. Was quickly seated by the host and a really nice table overlooking the kitchen. Service was quick and excellent, however the waitress did forgot our duck order but it quickly arrived after it was requested. We ordered drinks and the daily ribs special, pasta, duck and desserts. Everything was fine but not excellent. The ribs has more fats than meat, pasta was lacking in flavor, duck was bad. Desserts was perfect and yummy. We would return to try more if near the area.

    It was good. One thing that stood out, one of our guests for lunch and called ahead and asked for one of the breakfast bowls since there wasn't anything on the lunch menu she could eat. The chef obliged and there was no problem when we let our server know.

    I arrive there at 7:00 pm and order 3 restaurant week courses right away. It took more than 30 mins for the appetizer. Then another 30 mins for the main course. But the desert was never served even I payed my check at 8:20 pm. Until I came to the kitchen and ask them directly at 8:30 pm, the desert was finally on our table in two rounds. The second round was about 5 mins later. During the whole process, the waitress didn't not come to serve us at all. In terms of food, it's the lowest quality I ever had in Seattle area ever. The mac & cheese and noodle were so hard to chew and tasted over salty. The roasted pork is acceptable but nothing special. The finish is not fresh and too dry. The the crispy sugar top of Creme brulee was over burned, it's thick, dark and taste bitter. This is the WORST restaurant I ever visit in Seattle area.

    Went here for Seattle Restaurant Week and was highly disappointed that they were “out” of empanadas (1 of 3 total starters offered) at NOON! Very odd considering there were only about 8 total other people in the whole place. How early would someone have to eat lunch in order to secure an empanada? There is an alternative empanada on their non-SRW menu, but they refused to substitute it. Felt like a bait and switch.

    Went for restaurant week. Food was pretty good. Service was poor, especially considering the mandatory 20% service charge. Menus not brought to the table, had to chase waiter down for water, no communication about why food taking so long. Would not return.

    Went for restaurant week. Ambiance and service were decent. They were slow with the drinks though. Food was pretty good overall. The main dish of pork was disappointing. All the desserts were delicious though. I think if I were to go back again would definitely try the steak. Disappointing it wasnt on the restaurant week menu but definitely would come back!

    Did Restaurant week menu and my pasta was really not good at all. The noodles were dried out, no sauce on the top, so chewy/crunchy. My husband had Roasted Beast and it was “ just okay.” New server, and the timing was off. My Brussels sprout salad was good. My fruit crisp was also good but I ordered coffee with it and it was cold. Server poured hot coffee over the cold.

    I always enjoyed sitting at the fire place and chatting with the chefs while they cook. This is our goto date place before the ballet.

    We had the flank steak and the spit roasted pork special that we could see roasting on the spit. The pork was amazing! Unlike any pork I've had before. Creamy and tender with the skin that was hard and crispy. It was so rich that I couldn't eat very much. My husband's flank steak was a bit chewy but had good flavor. When he commented to the waitress that is was a bit chewy she automatically offered a free dessert. We didn't think that was necessary, but it was a nice gesture and the dessert was very good. The only problem I had was that I thought the "smoky" flavor was a bit overdone on the vegetables. It was a bit overwhelming for my taste, but I'm not a huge fan of smoked foods generally. So some might think it was excellent and it is a really nice food experience.

    Sadly disappointing (given I live next door). I was rooting for Patagon to be at least decent. It turned out to be a pretty average looking place, with limited ambience, then the service was a bit of a disaster, followed by a lukewarm, albeit quote tasty burger. Hopefully just a bad day but won't be rushing back in a hurry that's for sure.

    Delicious food, beautiful restaurant and enjoyable ambiance, however we continuously had to remind the staff including the manager that we were on an hour time constraint. The delays with food being served and dessert being served was a really disappointment, especially when one is in charge of scheduling all lunches for the board and her team and the other deals with lunches for attorneys and their clients. The staff should not assume that not all persons are there on leisure.
