I’ve been going to P.F. Chang’s for many years and it’s a neighborhood gem. The food is excellent, the servers are wonderful, the ambiance is lovely, and the restaurant is always clean. The value is outstanding. The only reason I’m not giving a full five-star review is the hostess experience. When arriving, the hostess often seems confused, and it can take an unnecessarily long time to be seated, even when the restaurant is not crowded. Improving the greeting and seating process would make the overall experience much better. Food: A+ Service: A Ambiance: A Cleanliness: A Value: A+ I truly enjoy dining here and hope the hostess experience can improve to match the otherwise excellent quality of this restaurant.

I haven’t been to PF Chang’s La Jolla in a while and now I remember why… - utensils were dirty (see: photo), - table was sticky (see: photo) - we asked for it to be cleaned, the white wet towel the server used was brown afterwards, - their chopsticks are so thin now, they look more like tooth picks, - water was never offered, just the lemonades we ordered, - we requested a refill of a lemonade for my daughter - it took three reminders for her to get it… sadly, she was already done eating. I used to love PF Chang’s back in the day, their Melon Walnut Shrimp was to die for. All Chicago locations were great. I hope they remained so… I am never coming back to PF Chang’s La Jolla.

I highly recommend P.F. Chang! It's a gem. Food is consistently A+ Atmosphere consistently A+ Service consistently A although the host at the front desk often changes and they seem disorganized and not the friendliest.

We made a reservation for 6. Upon our arrival we were informed that there were no tables available at the time so we would have to wait. We waited for over 20 minutes. Once we were seated, it took the waiter a long time to place our order. She was very nice and was doing the best she could but it was was obvious the restaurant was extremely short staffed. Our dinner took a long time to be served. My dinner was not very good. Kung pao chicken seems to be a pretty basic chinese dish but this one was dry, very little sauce, and hard. The rest of the guest seemed to enjoy their dinner. I was disappointed.

We were nicely greeted by the hostess when we arrived. She actually was able to check us in properly with our OpenTable reservation. Food is always good there but service was interesting. We were served by three different servers. At some point, a nice gentleman, I assume was the manager, came to our table to see how things were going, but never introduced himself. The floors and windows were a bit dirty for example dirty spots on the floor and dirty streaks on the windows.
