Pittsburgh Blue - Rochester
Wonderful service, ambiance and food. Lots of great menu choices.
Food was indeed good, but the experience did not live up to expectations or price. The hostesses were very nice but the waiter was professionally indifferent to our experience. I would have chalked it up to him pretending to give French style service, but the other tables in our area got attentive service.
Terza and Pescara are much better options.
Awesome meal. A jewel in downtown Rochester.
$$$$ but if you want good that’s the price of top notch service and food
Good quality of food. The service was prompt and went through the different varieties
Great food, great service, quiet environment. Pricey but worth it.
Great Old Fashioned, wonderful Filet Mignon with the Brussel Sprouts, and to finish it up with Midnight Express!!!
Was there for an early Dinner. Restaurant was almost empty at that early time 6 PM. Server acted like been distributed by customers.
When I got the bill I discovered a cleaning charge of 3%. Was the restaurant not been cleaned before the pandemic? What a ripoff, to make just more profit.
I will not go there again.
Delicious and pleasant are understatements!
We all had a nice time! Our server was funny and personable also.
Food came out lukewarm with a lengthy delay between salad and entree. At steakhouse prices, it’s difficult to accept a misstep.
We had a most delicious meal on a Monday night. Thank you!
The food was amazing! I would definitely recommend the hashbrowns blue style. I love hash browns but the blue style were on a whole other level. They were delicious. The lava cake and ice cream that was given to us for our anniversary was a great end to the meal. Service and atmosphere was great.
It was ok. With the price that they charge I would expect better.
Both my walleye and the coconut shrimp were overdone 😞
The roasted herb potatoes and key lime pie were out of this world however. For reference the coconut shrimp at Outback is always perfect and the walleye at Chesters is always perfect.
Ouserver was amazing!
Very good food and service would definitely recommend to my friends
From the minute we checked in for our reservation to the last bite of our dessert...everything was EXCELLENT!!!! Thank You for a nice evening!~~~it made graduation extra special.
5 year anniversary
My wife and I both ordered the same steak cooked the same way. Hers was burnt black across the entire top and the char took away from the flavor of the steak. You could only taste the burnt char. Sent it back and the 2nd one was perfect. Service was a bit slow. For what you get it is over priced.
We went for a birthday celebration, table of 3 on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not very busy. Service was slow, especially bar service. We waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks. It was 40 minutes before we even ordered, not by choice, slow service. We waited another 30 minutes at least after the appetizer for our entrees. It was disappointing: two of the three steaks needed to be sent back. We ordered Med Rare- warm RED center. Two were grey throughout, absolutely well done. They did get new steaks out to us fairly quick, but by then our sides were cold and the other person in our party was almost finished eating. When we were approached for dessert, at that point we were over 2 hours. We passed. The food was not bad and candidly a fair value. The service was soooo slow. We will give it another try at some point, but not anytime soon.
Portions and prices too high- fine for large group sharing. Poor quality seafood salad- slivered crab odd taste
Service was great. Not cheap but good food.
Phenomenal steak. Great service. Highly recommend
Food ok, service slow, probably will not return
Bone in filet was very tough, but had good flavor.
Ordered appetizer, salad, main course and sides. When the main course was served, the appetizer plates and salad plate had not been cleared. My husband requested that they be removed, at the end of dinner the plates were still on the table. If you like cold, coagulating and fatty prime rib you will love this restaurant. If you want good food and great service, this is not a place you will enjoy.
I ordered calamari , Mac and cheese . Steaks and burgers. All tasted bland , steak was charred. Server was not friendly. I’m aware the steak is expensive so I was expecting to be really impressed. Will not return . Not worth the price .
Went from the best steak I've ever eaten in my life the last time I visited to one of the worst this time around. Covid is no excuse to serve a $2 cut of meat and charge $50+ for it. Sides and everything else were great as always.
All was great. Drinks, food, apps and service. A nice find and recommend.
I enjoyed my Mother's Day meal. The food was delicious and it is a great atmosphere. Will definitely head there for another special occasion.
Food was ok and the cowboy steak had a lot of fat and silver skin
We took a "road less traveled"...We shared a couple of exquisite appetizers and a very tasty salad and wine. Just a pleasant, wonderful and filling dinner!
Wish I lived closer to sample this far more often.
Only got to eat 1/2 salad and iced teas cuz they never bothered to get the rest of our order. 1 hour in it was time to go. No one around and no attention to detail. Poor service for what’s supposed to be a high caliber restaurant experience.
Our waiter was excellent, crab legs extraordinary, husband's Porter House steak was tough and not very memorable. For the prices you pay, you expect extraordinary service, FOOD and atmosphere. I found the wine list somewhat limited, there was no bread basket, dessert menu limited....even the main menu seemed somewhat limited and blah. If you are paying prices that you would pay at Ruth Chris or the St. Paul Hotel, I expected a lot more bang for the buck. We were there to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. We will not be rushing back anytime soon. I would not recommend for a special occasion.
nicholas was a great service; the curtains should be open; large party of six was a little loud and difficult when having a romantic dinner; king crab legs were not worth ordering-way too small of serving size
The food was very good. Side portions are enormous. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious and big portions. The family style sides can feed like 5 people
Nice atmosphere with great service. Food was excellent.
Filet mignon was amazing, service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
