Over dit restaurant

Goed voor speciale gelegenheden
Innovatief
romantisch

We are so excited to launch our new menus and be the first wine bar in Kirkby Lonsdale to embrace the vibe of social dining. Whilst sitting in a relaxed atmosphere, Plato’s will be offering sharing boards and smaller plates, featuring the absolute best in locally sourced charcuterie, cheese, bread, vegetarian options, and desserts to die for! These will be served alongside fine wines, our famous cocktail menu, local draught, and craft beers, and an excellent selection of quality spirits.

You can choose to dine in Plato’s restaurant or the lively bar area where your canine friends are welcome to join you.

We realised there was no hot food. We had great charcuterie with locally sourced cheeses and cold meats. Loved it with a nice glass of Malbec from agreat wine list. We stayed there as well which was really comfortable 🙂

Lovely food, really great quality meats and cheeses on the board and, with some bread alongside, the perfect amount for two of us.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Lovely decor and ambience. We did find the menu very limited and therefore declined to eat.

I’ve dinned at Plato’s many times over the years and always enjoyed the food. I visited the restaurant on 15/05/22, I was deeply disappointed, the menu has changed to grazing platters, which are nothing to write home about. My partner and I felt for the staff serving due the atmosphere in the restaurant being as dead as the current menu.

Poor menu and no atmosphere. Was seated in an empty room so moved back to the bar. Had a bottle of wine and left. Used to have a great menu and was fully of people. Going massively down hill. Get back to an al a carte menu and get people in!!!

Took 20 minutes to order drinks and a further 15 minutes till we received them. Food overpriced for what you receive on the sharing platters. Once food arrived we had no plates or cutlery to eat it with had to prompt the waiter to receive these. Wrong bottle of wine was brought received no tap water that we had requested. Fairly poor experience for a high price paid won’t be returning anytime soon.
