The service was very good, and I loved how the bartender made my dirty martini. The sides were disappointing. The fries were chewy, and the mushrooms had no flavor. The steak was delicious and the cheesy potatoes, pork belly appetizer and crabe cake were all great. But the oysters tasted a bit fishy. I almost did not eat them.

Really nice little restaurant, with very friendly servers. They did switch servers in the course of our meal because the first one went off the clock. Don’t see that very often. Our food was great except one steak was a bit overdone. They offered a new one but we declined as we don’t like to see food wasted like that. If it was very overdone we would have taken the replacement. All in all a few small negatives on a very positive experience.

It was ok … I felt like the food needed a little bit seasoned, the bread wasn’ terrible. Overall, like I said it was OK.

Celebrated my friends birthday do nicely with champagne, a card from tge staff and a tasty birthday dessert. Food was fabulous as usual. Love Porterhouse

Made a reservation for my son’s bday invited 7 but ended up with 12! The Hostess was so accommodating my mother’s in a wheelchair and she made sure she was able to get to the patio with ease. The Africa American young lady with the braids didn’t get her name but she’s a true gem. Food was amazing Brussels sprouts were fire , steak cooked to perfection and drinks were delicious. Thanks for a great dinner. Definitely going back.

Sometimes we take for granted the incredible fine dining options we have right here in our little town of El Segundo, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize Porter House Steakhouse and everything they have to offer. I’ve been coming here regularly for the past two years, and I usually find myself sitting at the bar. Joey, Makayla, Jay, and Emily are all fantastic bartenders who make amazing cocktails, especially when you let them get creative with a “dealer’s choice!” The happy hour and bar menus are easily some of the best in town. The food is consistently excellent, with some of my personal favorites being the Steak Frites, Thai Curry Wagyu Beef Pasta, and Wedge Salad. I also recently attended their Bardstown Bourbon tasting, which featured an incredible selection of bourbons paired with delicious dishes thoughtfully prepared by Chef Bijan. It was a fantastic experience and a great example of the special events Porter House has been putting together. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re always warmly welcomed by the hosts or Ricky, the general manager. Since Ricky took over as GM, I’ve noticed several positive improvements, particularly with the special events, overall atmosphere, and staff. Whether you’re looking for a great fine dining experience, a casual happy hour at the bar, or a fun evening at one of their special events, I highly recommend Porter House. We’re lucky to have a restaurant like this in El Segundo!

I don’t usually give my opinions on meals as my own personal opinion might not benefit others. Though we were just floored on this one. Ambiance and service was great. The taste of the food did not match the look of the restaurant nor the service. Maybe we just didn’t order the right items? However we did order some items that were recommended to us though it was not worth the price and was not tasty at all. Ordered: Prime - Rib Eye (medium) Porterhouse Mash Raw Oysters Wedge salad Bread basket Crème brûlée - seasonal sour apple Cappuccino Whiskey Glass of Wine Our bill was over $300 (not including tip).
