Restaurant very quiet. We were first there. However slowly filled up and ambience got better. Food was outstanding! Sooo tasty and nice options, a bit different. Staff were attentive but not hovering. Would definitely go back!

We’d picked a quiet time on a World Cup game day so Prana was quiet and the service was helpful and prompt. The food was delicious and the portions almost too big (had to take some home for lunch the next day and even then I couldn’t finish!) The menu is a little limited, however. Would have liked more choice. And there are no cocktails on the drinks menu which was also a little disappointing. Prana prices are higher than your average Indian so I’d hoped for a little more. Still: we thoroughly enjoyed our meals!

Went in on a whim before catching a train and ended up wishing we'd left more time. Starters arrived fast, the Marechhi Ponir had a proper smoky edge to it, and the mains were just as good. Staff were lovely about the tight window and made sure we got out on time. Five minutes from the station, so it's an easy stop — we'll be making a habit of it.

Excellent food, warm service, no complaints. The lamb was the highlight and everything arrived quickly. Best Indian on Mill Road as far as we're concerned.

Came here with a group of six and it worked brilliantly. Plenty on the menu for the vegetarians, everything halal so nobody had to think twice, and the staff handled a big table without any fuss. Food came out together and hot, which doesn't always happen with a group that size. Booking again for the next one.

Genuinely one of the best Indian meals we've had in Cambridge. The Sikandari Lamb was outstanding and the Marechhi Ponir disappeared before we could even share it properly. Service was friendly and quick, the room had a nice buzz to it, and the whole thing felt great value for what we got. Already planning our next visit.

Took visiting family here as they wanted "proper" Indian and it delivered. Everyone found something they loved, portions were generous, and being halal made it easy for the whole group. Service was warm and unhurried.

Visiting Cambridge for the weekend and found this on a walk down from the station, only about ten minutes away. Glad we did. The tiger prawn moglai was the standout for me, big juicy prawns and a rich sauce I was mopping up with the naan. My wife had the chicken tikka masala which she said was one of the best she's had. It did get busy and there was a bit of a wait between courses, but the food more than made up for it. Would happily come again next time we're in town.

The food is really good, not stand-out amazing, but very good. The service is quite average. Value for money, it's a bit over-priced, but reasonable for the quality given the area.

I'll be honest, Mill Road has a lot of Indian places so I wasn't expecting much, but Prana genuinely surprised me. We started with the chicken chaat and a plate of poppadoms with the chutney tray, both spot on. For mains I had the green murgh curry which came with broccoli and baby aubergine in a coconut milk sauce, really different from your standard curry and full of flavour. My friend ordered the lamb dhansak and kept stealing bites of mine anyway. We got a tarka dal and a garlic naan to share on the side and finished with the kulfi, which was the perfect way to end because it isn't too heavy. Service was friendly and actually knew the menu when we asked questions. Not the cheapest but you're paying for quality and it shows. Will be back.
