   The food and drinks were on point!!! Our waiter, Noah, was good and attentive. We sampled each other's plates, everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Next time we are in Houston, we will be back!

    Food was top tier!!!! I had the imperial salmon and my fiancé had the pasta. Our drinks were delicious as well! I’d definitely recommend!!!! This was my first date night after my 2nd son and it was everything and more!!!

    Talk about a great time! Prey was everything and more. From the pleasant smile of the hostess, the amazing knowledge of our waitress, to the ambiance of the restaurant, everything was amazing! The food was to die for! I would recommend making a reservation to ensure seating because this is one taste you don’t want to miss.

    Drinks were watered down, food was somewhat warm, waitress forgot pur water in giggled about forgetting it, waited 15 mins before we were wasted on and then had to wait ten minutes just to check out.

    It needs a lot of work. Coffee was on the menu, but they couldn’t provide coffee. Ask for egg whites and the waitress said they can’t sell us egg whites yet they’re selling scrambled eggs! The greeters were on their phone and not paying attention. Our waitress was good and professional. She smiled and had a good attitude and was the best thing about that restaurant. I did this review for the owners to know what’s going on. I’m sure they pay these people to work and not to be on their phones with a bad attitude.

    Yesterday was my 2nd wedding anniversary, Destiny was my server, she never refilled our drinks, I asked her for water twice, once food was brought out to our table she never came back to ask was everything ok, desert was not offered I even had to flag her down for the tab! There was only 5 tables seated inside and 2 outside with 3 waitresses. The food was not plated according to how an upscale restaurant should hold standards to plate; the food was not freshly prepared it was precooked and warmed in a microwave. I’m highly disappointed!

    I’d heard great things about this place, so I wanted to give it a try. We were seated in the back, next to a large window, which was fine, but it was hot, lol. We sat for about 10 minutes before a server came to greet. She came and took orders. The drinks were good, the food was awful. The lamb chops were over seasoned and the oxtails seemed barely cooked. They had no color, were no tender at all, and I was not a fan. However, I didn’t send them back. The grits were THICK. Like, there was no scooping them, you had to SLICE them, lol. I just took the loss. I probably won’t return, but I got the experience.

    The food was delicious but it was not hot. Like it sat in kitchen for a while before bringing it out. The waitress was not very attentive. But the food had a good taste probably would have been banging if it were hot. It was okay for an overall experience.

    Was so excited to try this place, but had a very poor experience. Bad seating. Back corner makeshift table right next to kitchen door and photography station. Constant arguments between staff members and photographer right next to us for 90% of our meal. Took 50 minutes to get acknowledgement. Got a server 55 minutes after we sat down and then waited another 20 minutes for terrible syrupy drinks that we did not touch after initial taste. Food took another hour. My partners was excellent (oxtail and grits). I ordered chicken and waffles. Chicken was cooked and seasoned well, but waffles had huge chunks of sugar which made them inedible. Immediately got ticket and we always tip but there was already a 20% gratuity added which was more than enough for awful experience we had. Would not recommend or go again. This is coming from someone that VERY RARELY leaves a negative review anywhere if if I have off food/service 😔

    This was the worst experience! There was no host at the host stand to greet us and get us seated. One representative came from the bar area to ask if we had a reservation, then left and did not return. Another representative came and ask our name again, walked away, then came and asked us to have a seat. Shortly after, we were escorted to the table. We waited 20 minutes just to be greeted by the server, then another 20 minutes for the water to be brought to the table. We jumped on the opportunity to order drinks and food while the server was there... However, they did have half of the menu available - no this, no that - every time we asked for something. We finally completed the order and patiently waited for drinks... and waited... and waited... After 30 minutes - NO DRINKS... So, if the drinks hadn't come, I knew the food would be an issue. We left! We should've got the hint when two other tables walked out before us due to the bad service and lack of customer service. I do NOT recommend patronizing this establishment.

    Sent a steak back because it was very well done instead of medium well as requested, and the chef came out and brought the same plate back giving excuses for why the steak was extremely burned on the outer parts indicating that it had been sitting and continued to cook on the plate. Didn't receive the correct steak until everyone else was done with their meal. Traveled from South Carolina for this dining experience and was extremely disappointed.

    I was super excited to give Prey a try for date night. For starters this place was beautiful and service was good as well. I ordered the Crawfish Fondue which was pretty good and I had no complaints. My boyfriend ordered the lamb chops which had a burnt and bland taste. I ordered the King Filet with a side of mashed potatoes. The steak was extremely salty. Don’t get me wrong I love seasoned food but this wasn’t even edible. The mashed potatoes were very bland as well. I looked forward to dining here but I was truly disappointed.

    Small menu. Full menu not offered during brunch. Unable to order gumbo or sides off regular menu. Had two drinks at the bar and chose to not order food. Auto gratuity for two people on two drinks? Odd, confusing gratuity info at the door. Drinks were good, bartender exceptional but the menu options disappointing we chose to eat elsewhere. Not sure a trip back is worth the dinner menu.

    Dinning here was an experience. There is a beautiful view of the city when you dine inside and outside. However this night the food wasn’t up to par. I felt like the food was fast food quality and not fine dining.

    The brunch menu and cocktails may be good, but I was extremely disappointed in the dinner selections. A fried catfish filet on a bed of cream spinach with lump crabmeat on top is not a gourmet meal. The construction did not make sense on the menu nor in actuality. However, the Post Oak cocktail was tasty and the service was very good.
