I had the ultimate dinner at @prime_39 and whewww. This Long Island steakhouse really did that. It was HARD not to order my usual lamb chops (because if you know, you know), but I said let’s try something new and I’m so glad I did. We started with: 🍽️ Drunken mussels 🍽️ Fried calamari Both 🔥🔥🔥 For entrées: •Branzino with rosemary cream, asparagus & mashed potatoes, the sauce was PERFECT and the portion was generous •Jerk salmon with mashed potatoes & spinach •Stuffed Cornish hen filled with cornbread stuffing Dessert •Warm Apple Tart •Red Velvet And let’s talk cocktails… because they were STRONG and delicious ✨They also did a little renovation; fresh new look ✨ Added new menu items ✨ Tuesdays = ALL DAY happy hour ✨ Thursdays = $5 oysters & martinis ✨ Weekends = DJ + vibes When I say this meal was divine, I’m still thinking about it a week later especially that hen and branzino If you’re ever in Long Island, this is a spot you NEED to support. 📍 Prime 39 Tell them Eating with Etienne sent you #LongIslandEats #steakhouse #blackowned #dinner #foodporn

Thursday nights at @prime_39 just hit different One of my favorite restaurants to eat at for both brunch and dinner and this Thursday special sealed the deal. $2 oysters (fresh, briny, and so good) Served with: • Sorrel mignonette • Horseradish • Cocktail sauce 🍸 Drinks we tried (and yes… they hit): • Apple Piña Colada Mocktail (my cousin’s, absolutely divine) • Gentleman (Sidecar) • Intense Café (Espresso Martini) intense and good • Lost Cherry (Cherry Lemon Drop) Great music Refreshed interior Perfect for birthdays, date night, or a night out with family & friends Be hones: Are you coming for the oysters or the cocktails first? Tag your friend Save this for your next Thursday night out & tell them @eatingwithetienne sent you . #oysters #cocktails #Thursday #Prime39 #LongIslandEats

The wait for someone to wait the tables were longer than usual . But when the waitress gets there , she is unorganized and not proactive . The wait for food was at least an hour long . Even drinks from the bar took longer than what i would have imagined. Then the waitress gave me two separate bills -so basically she got gratuity twice for the work of one table that she did in the most laziest manner and I didn’t appreciate that. Been here many times -not sure when I’ll be revisiting considering the service , and the food was cold and the food -took longer than to come out and no attentiveness to the customers in general.

Wednesday evening dinner for two. Good vibe, great service and presentation. Being present before the after work 7PM crowd is a definite advantage. Easy parking less than 1 block away, around the corner.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an AMAZING time at Prime 39’s Bingo Brunch celebrating my friend’s birthday! From beginning to end, the entire experience was top tier. Our hostess, Lala, was EVERYTHING! She had the entire place singing, dancing, laughing and having the best time. Her energy was contagious, and she truly created a vibe that was unforgettable. She knows how to work a room and make everyone feel like they’re part of the celebration! Our waitress was amazing as well, and honestly, the entire staff was great. Everyone was attentive, welcoming and added to the experience. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. We laughed, danced, sang and made some amazing memories. We’re already talking about going back because one time definitely wasn’t enough! 😂❤️ 10/10 experience — Prime 39 and Lala understood the assignment! 🥂🎶💃🏽

This was my first time visiting this establishment. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. From the time of arrival till the time we left it was an amazing experience. Prime 39 did not disappoint. Everything was awesome. Special shout out to Dora. Her upbeat attitude and food suggestions were on point. Thanks Dora, much appreciated.
