   Tried the French Quarter in the Gaslamp Quarter. It was exquisite. The food was delicious, the ambiance was amazing, and they even had decorations and music to match the theme. It was like being transported to NOLA. Loved this experience!

   After being excited about going to this restaurant since the holidays, it was a complete let down. We were given a 1:30 pm reservation with bottomless mimosas even though the restaurant closes at 2:00 pm. Nit just the kitchen, but the entire restaurant. Some of my group didn’t even bother ordering food.

   The salad was delicious. Also got a fabulous cheese plate with the half price wine. I had a gf pizza. The toppings were great but I have had better gf crust. The regular pizza had too much sauce and made it hard to puck up and eat. Good service and live music.

   I took my significant other here for Valentine’s Day. It was suppose to be a 4 course experience. Our reservations were at 8:30 but we weren’t seated until 9. Our first course came at 9:30 and our second course came at 10. After waiting another 20 minutes we decided to use the restroom. About 10 more minutes sitting at our table waiting for our 3rd course I asked to see the manager. The manager was Nedra and after telling her how long we were waiting and feeling like we were forgotten about she proceeded to turn it on us and said it was our fault the 3rd course didn’t come out because we stepped away from our table. Not only did our server never check in to on us but it took notifying the manager for our food to finally arrive. At this point I was done and wanted to go. After repeatedly telling her no she basically tried forcing our 3rd course on us when we said we didn’t want it about 5 times and only blamed us again for stepping away for a couple of minutes. I don’t like writing reviews like this but this was necessary. After 2 hours and still hungry we still ended up paying almost $300. Very poor execution by kitchen, server, and management. It was shocking how Nedra the manager treated us. This was my worst restaurant experience.

    Food was outstanding - of particular note was the artichoke pasta - a stand-alone dish on its own. Flavors and richness of the artichokes, ricotta and fresh pasta made this one really memorable. The lobster tail with the addition of the wagyu side was a perfect pairing - diners didn’t need butter to dip the lobster, the buttery rich wagyu was the ideal complement to its seafood counterpart. And the green sauce was also lovely - that garlic and basil seasoning was just light enough and did not overwhelm. We ordered the bottle of Barbaresco from Italy which was absolutely divine with the pasta and bold enough to hold its own and bring out the lush flavors of the steak and lobster. That turned out to be a perfect pairing! All in all the meal was VERY well done - a lovely surprise :-). Compliments to the chef and entire staff. Hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day - y’all made ours wonderful. Thank you.

    Sunday Brunch. Good food. The "Chilaquiles" where ok. Outstanding pastry’s. Service was excrete (servers where bilingual which is always nice and a plus). The rest location, decor and architecture are what make Provisional Restaurant worth the visit. Trendy. Very Instagramish (:

    Came for a birthday brunch with a friend. The service was incredible. Servers were attentive, friendly and made it a wonderful experience. The server heard that it was my friend’s birthday and he brought over a deconstructed chocolate cake towards the end of our meal that was so good! Food was all amazing- don’t skip out on the pesto potatoes they are divine! Would love to come back for dinner sometime to try some of the other offerings. Definitely a must try when in SD!

    We used hotel credit since we were staying at the Pendry, the service is great. The ambience is nice and the space is very spacious. Food was great too! I didn’t get a picture of the cold pressed juice, we tried the one with ginger/turmeric and it was good!

    Overall delicious brunch and the bottomless mimosas were a great choice! Unfortunately, the service was slow and we were given the wrong food first. When our correct order was brought out, they also forgot the sides we ordered. However, the food was phenomenal and made up for the small blunders at the beginning of the meal.

    Restaurant was empty but staff was inattentive . Ordered Wednesday wine special and cheese arrived with our dinner salads which should have been served with our main entree, but no wine. We asked for wine. After wine arrived in approximately 5 minutes we were asked if we wanted our main entree even though we had just started on the cheese sampler and our dinner salads hadn’t been touched. We asked for main entrees to be held. Once we had had a glass of wine and were ready for our main entrees no staff seemed to be watching our table. Pasta dishes arrived and one serving was huge and one was tiny. Pastas were tasty.

    Prix fixe Christmas dinner was excellent. Slightly challenged by a plus $25 upgrade for the only meat item available. Kale salad, duck pate, filet mignon, gingerbread log and snow globe were all delicious, beautifully prepared and presented.

    Restaurant was freezing.. front door open the entire meal. Though no somewhat empty, had to wait about 10m to be seated. Brunch was good, service was ok except that we didn’t get our coffee till we finished half our meal. Nice atmosphere besides the cold, very pricey.

    The service was slow and the appetizers were overpriced considering the portions and quality. my party ordered the scallops, which did not taste fresh, the smoked chicken chipotle rigatoni, which lacked smokiness and chipotle flavor, and the mushroom bolognese, which was under seasoned. the only star of the show was the broccolini which had a great garlic butter flavor.
