   Disappointing food. Latterly the front door kept open to bring in a couple of tables from outside. Not particularly late in the evning & cold/draught coming in. Pizza's were average at best the bruschetta was not great for something simple, not toasted enough,cold, floating in virgin oil.

   Chris our waiter was super efficient and friendly in spite of him working alone. The restaurant was busy and there was a nice buzz about the place. I'll certainly be back again.

   From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The ambience and decor were lovely. The service was perfect - Anna was a very polite and pleasant waitress and funny too! Just lovely. The food was gorgeously tasty. I had the avocado and poached egg dish and the flavours were so so yummy. The best thing I’ve eaten in a restaurant for years. Five stars for this lovely restaurant!

   The new small plates menu has loads of tasty dishes. All were very tasty and 3 dishes proved to be fairly substantial. Wine was good and everything very reasonably priced.

   We waiting 15 minutes for our dinner order to be taken and had to ask for this to happen. There was only 1 member of staff serving 7 tables and felt if there had been more staff this could have been avoided. After we asked for our order to be taken there was no apology even given for the time we had waited.

    Food and surroundings were lovely, our server was also lovely however service for food was very slow and no milk (soy/almond/oat) alternatives for my vegan friend to have a coffee. Overall was a lovely meal, just wouldn't book again if I was in a rush.

    Enjoyed our lunch and chatting to the staff immensely. Very attentive and engaging with our two kids too. Taking the food we couldn’t finish away as a takeaway was also a welcome touch.

    The waitress who served us initially looked as if she couldn’t be bothered. I asked her if they had any Chilean Sauvignon blanc and she sneered and said all Sauvignons are the same as if I was an idiot. There was no nice ambience at all. It felt more like a college cafe than an Italian restaurant. Oh and the tiniest bar area is right at the door with a handful of middle aged guys getting drunk and talking at the tops of their voices. We will never be back.

    There was problem with the heating, so it was quite cool even although they had small heaters throughout. Food was hot and nicely presented, but not outstanding. At one point we were the only 3 people there and still it seemed we weren’t noticed, no one told us the soup of the day, we finally noticed a very small notice at the window saying soup of day, too late. We drive 20mins to restaurant , and although it was decent food, I won’t go again.

    I was disappointed that your menu did not include the usual starters unless I chose the Xmas menu. We have enjoyed our previous visits and were impressed by the quality of the meals. This time I felt that you had lost your "mojo" as the quality of food and service was not comparable with previous visits. As regards recommending Punto to a friend, I'll wait until I visit again after the Christmas and the New Year.

    There must be change going in chef!! The starters were fine but our mains were awful we couldn't believe it at first but when asked how was the food by a waitress we express re the fish and chips - the fish was so tiny portion for a adult price and the plate was filled with chips to compensate when and she simply said she was new so didn't really know anything. My seafood pizza was from a jar mix so the base was soggy and drowning in cheese....awful anniversary dinner. We left without finishing the mains and paid full price for an terrible experience.

This is served with Anchovies, which I'm afraid, can only be purchased in a tin. Our fish and chips is served with a full fillet of haddock, fries, salad and tartare sauce. Portion sizes tend to be something we are heavily complimented on. If you give Punto a call and ask for the manager, Anna, we would be happy to make it up to you! Thanks Again!

    Had a lovely family lunch on Saturday. Service was fantastic as was the food. Kids got pizza and me and my husband got the pizzetta and pasta lunch deal. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return. Thank you.

    The food was delicious, we shared the antipasto plate to start then I had the sea bass and hubby had the seafood stew…service was excellent. It was a bit chilly to start with as the A/C was going full blast tho it was not a warm evening, but the food warmed us up! Great that they had alcohol free beer too! We had a lovely evening!
