   Food was good but service terrible. We had to find someone to take our drinks and food order after waiting 30minutes for someone to come to our table. It felt as though the staff were ignoring/avoiding us and had to search for someone to get a dessert menu and our bill.

   My wife and i have been going to the Quabana for many years , the restaurant and atmosphere are exceptional , unfortunatly some of the food is letting it down . We will still go for a drink but they need to up there game on the food .

    As always, I had an amazing time. The food was excellent and as a coeliac I know I can eat safely here. The food, service and atmosphere was truly wonderful. I can't wait to return.

    Went to Qubana as recommended by friends..we were not disappointed! The food was amazing and good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was buzzing even though we were there early..will certainly be returning.

    The restaurant is lovely but quite a bit noisy around the main bar downstairs. We were upstairs in the covered terrace, which was in stark contrast really quiet. The food is absolutely amazing, we had tapas and the lamb tagine is particularly good, one of the best I’ve had. The service is also good, the girls were very attentive and accommodating. Overall, an excellent evening from start to finish. Thanks to everyone involved in making our evening really special, excellent little place, we will definitely be making a return.

    Booked a late afternoon table for 8. The restaurant was very busy and quite noisy - our group had to wait a short while for our table to become available. We then the wait between ordering our food and the food arriving was a bit longer than anticipated (though that may have been to enable all the dishes for all 8 of our party to arrive together). The food was delicious though, and we really enjoyed our meal. The waiting staff were also very pleasant and accommodating.

    My in laws were visiting and as it was my mother in laws birthday, we decided to book for Qubana for lunch. We have visited many times before, however, we always remark on how incredible the staff here are. They are so attentive, friendly and welcoming. My father in law struggles with mobility and one of the team took the time to walk him to the accessible wc and then checked he was ok and helped him back, so incredibly thoughtful and kind. Now, onto the food, it was Saturday so it was extremely busy, but the food came pretty quickly and as always it was utterly divine, I am told the mulled pear was 10/10. If you are thinking of going for somewhere to eat in Wakefield, make sure Qubana is high on your list, you will not be disappointed.

    Great service from start to finish. There was 9 of us but all food arrived at the same time with no mistakes. meals were quality ingredients and really tasty. All staff were friendly and helpful but not over bearing.

    Very good food, lots of variety for none meat eaters. Shame some of the fish dishes had meat in them. Staff attentive and c pleasant. Spacious and nice decor.

    After visiting Robatary on numerous occasions (absolutely love it) we decided to visit Qubana (their sister restaurant) good vibe as soon as we walked in - latin music and a buzz of other clientel. Service attentive but not intrusive. Tried approx 10 different dishes from the tapas options washed down with a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Couldn't ask for much more on a Friday evening. Happy bunnies.

    From arrival at the large authentic doors to being greeted by a fun and friendly gentleman who showed us to our table. Very prompt and helpful waiters and waitress on the ball with drinks orders and then the food order. Absolutely outstanding food with a fantastic environment. Amazing decor. Loved it. Would recommend and will visit again. Family of 4 with more than 1 meal each on starters, tapas and mains cost £96 which including drinks and deserts is good value for money.

    Starters unfortunately took an hour and we didn’t have any updates from service as to why this was. Food was standard, although the meats were very nicely cooked; chicken breast was very small for £13. Regards value for money, we paid to upgrade our desserts from miniature ones and still feel like we received a miniature one?! Portion sizes seem very small now. Expensive for what it was, but a nice environment which got busier as the night went on - it was quiet when we arrived at 6pm so we were confused as to the service delay

I will ask Chef to check with the suppliers as we have not changed our orders for Chicken so he will see if this is a supplier issue. The desserts seems was an oversight on our part and may have got sent the standard size and not the upgraded size, my apologies for this.     This place has really upped its stakes in the food area. It’s delicious authentic tapas are great !! Gorgeous venue , attentive polite staff and fab food , what’s not to like ?

    Wonderful atmosphere and surroundings. Staff very helpful and friendly. Made me feel special on my birthday. Food choice amazing. Food ordered well presented and tasty. Music a bit loud at times. Shame the coffee machine was broken. Otherwise a perfect visit. 🥰

    1st time to Wakefield and booked in advance as it was Rhubarb festival weekend. Inside was a world away from windy Wakefield, shown straight to table, very prompt service and food delicious and very reasonably priced had the 3 small plates for £10 and shared a nice bottle of wine , would definitely recommend it
