A lot’s happened since we opened our doors in 1848, and I guess you could say we’ve seen it all. From dirt road to plank road to railroad, Red Circle Inn has been serving up good food with good service for generations of people in Lake Country. Over the years, we’ve been a stomping ground for traders, trappers, settlers, working class, high class and everyone in between. There’s so much history in these walls, you can almost taste it.

It was former owner Captain Fred C. Pabst who gave Red Circle Inn its name and iconic red circle logo, a nod to his Pabst Brewing Company. He made the restaurant the place to see and be seen around the lakes, not just for a beer, but for high-quality food and warm hospitality.

Over 170 years later, the legacy lives on. As you enjoy your meal and the nostalgia of Red Circle Inn, you’ll learn why guests have been returning, generation after generation. Some might call Red Circle Inn a legend…that’s fine by us.

This reservation followed my requests 100%! Food selection was very good and the service is what would be expected for restaurant to be in business for 178 years. Perfect!

Stopped at the bar both before and after dinner Our bartender, Emily, was excellent. Good service and well made cocktails. Food was delicious but the entrees could have been a bit hotter. Again very good service. Overall a nice dining experience.

We have eaten at RCI several times in the past year. The prices are high which we don’t mind paying if the value is there. The duck was excellent I found my prime rib tasted more like a beef roast than a prime rib and ir wasn’t cooked MR Mashers were vg first visit 2nd they tasted reheated. For a upper class supper club I can buy my own Hawaiian rolls and expect better quality for the price. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress was excellent…..food is hit or miss at least that’s been our experience.

Wanted to try somewhere new for our wedding anniversary and was recommended the Red Circle Inn. Could not have been happier with the experience. Food, drinks, and service were excellent. Highly recommend. Will be going back.

Very cool building - I wish we could've gotten a tour of the place. The service was good but the food was just ok.

We were here on a Sunday, so it was very quiet. I ordered duck & my husband ordered short ribs. Both were excellent. Service was good. I would go back again when we're in the area.

We drove 90 minutes to dine at Red Circle. It was definitely worth the drive. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Relish tray 8/10 Oysters Rockefeller 9/10 CHEESE CURDS 20/10 Dinner Salad 10/10 (BLUE CHEESE DRESSING IS OUTSTANDING) Shrimp De Jonghe 10/10 Prime Rib 10/10 The service was outstanding. We will be back!
