I was disappointed that Red Lobster was out of lobster. They had lobster tails, but not the whole lobster, which is the entire reason I went there. They were also severely understaffed leading to long wait times. It's not the fault of the servers - they were running around as fast as possible. Just not enough of them.
Great time. Was surprised at the amount of dinners. People waiting all the time we were there. Using Opentable definitely saved wait time. Service was good and food was good. Good experience over all,

Incredibly poor service. The entire meal (including the appetizers) was brought to the table at once. We had to beg for refills on coffee & drinks, and bus our own dishes to the table behind us just for room. It was a birthday celebration dinner, but no acknowledgment made thereof, no courtesies for the inconvenience of food literally falling off the table, with the lobster tales consisting of approx. 2 pinky sized proportions of meat. Plus this was a whopping bill of close to $100 for two. We even left a tip - but will never again go back.
My husband and I came in to celebrate my Dad's 72nd birthday, he passed away last month, Red Lobster was his favorite. I put that information in the notes of my reservation. We got there 10 minutes before our reservation and had to wait 30 minutes passed our reservation to get seated. We waited at the bar where we ordered drinks, we were the only customers at the bar. We paid for our drinks when we got them, and the bartender didn't speak another word to us after that. I sat there with an empty drink for over 15 minutes while he watched the Twins Game. I watched him pick up glasses by their rim, scoop crumbs from the bar over open liquor bottles, stand at the register drinking his drink and watching TV. He never asked how we were doing or if I'd like another drink. He didn't thank us when we got up to go to our table. Our server was fine, nothing bad and nothing good. He asked why we were there and I told him, it's not his responsibility to make our visit "one to remember", but he certainly didn't. We left after our meal and both people at the host stand watched us walk out and didn't say a word.
My waitress was not very attentive or friendly. I would not sit in her area again. Everything was good but the one waitress. Overall not a bad place to dine.
Alex was the best server. He was so kind, patient & detailed. Thank you!!!
Our party of 5 was seated within 5 minutes of our reservation in a corner booth. The service was excellent as well as the food. The portions were generous and seemed to be appropriately priced.
Kudos to Alex he was our waiter. Very good on listening to us .he was excellent in getting the food to hot .thank you again for dinner and 48 wedding anniversary.

Great waiter-he was so busy that sometimes things took a bit. But he was polite and despite his business was still better than many other servers...food was delicious. Menu was trimmed down and costs more on the new menu what they have. Salads are no longer included but a side option. Fresh catches no longer included walleye which was disappointing for one of the people I was with. Also no pasta half portion - they added calories (yay) so it looked like you get less food now for the same price (crab pasta was 1400 plus now is 1100 calories).
The food was wonderful and fresh. it was perfect for my birthday..so enjoyed.
The server never brought the rolls until our salads came out. The Cesar salads were so salty we couldn't enjoy. The alfredo pasta was also very salty. We had to ask for a small fork so my husband could eat his crab. Overall not a good experience for a first time at this location. We'll stick to the Fridley location.
Clam chowder was watery and contained two tiny clams and two tiny potato bites.
My order was wrong (Although to be fair, I did ask questions about the entree that was brought to me.
When I asked the waitress , "Is this going to be a problem...she said YES." So I kept the meal and hardly ate any of it.
90.00 for two...no cocktails.
I will be hard pressed to spend that kind of money again at RED LOBSTER.
The service was slow, the crab legs were severely over cooked, and then cold when they got to the table. They ran out of crab claw crackers. The best they could muster was a tiny sea food fork.
I had not been to a red Lobster in 4 years and now I remember why. I think I finally learned my lesson. I won't be back.
Long wait. Understandable with Covid and capacity limits but the restaurant wasn’t doing everything within their power to help matters as we watched two tables (in the bar area within view of the host stand) sit dirty and unoccupied for at least 10 mins while there were three people manning the host stand often doing nothing at all. Pitch in and get those tables bussed!
Also, I can’t stand it when a server doesn’t pre-bus their table. If I’m sitting there with an empty plate, clear it.
Our PRIORITY seating was scheduled for 7:00pm. We arrived a little early at 6:55. We checked in and were PROMPTLY seated at 7:45pm (WTF?) Then we had to WAIT some more (10mins) to finally get some service. It was very poorly organized and ran. Upon talking to the hostess about the 6 tables seated before us: 2 had phoned ahead and 4 just walked in and put there name on a list. I don't know what the hell priority seating is good for? (what a joke!) As for our waiter, I can tell you that the food service industry is not a wise career choice!
Food was really good, had Walts Favorite Shrimp, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All were hot and perfectly cooked. Actually was the best food I have ever had at a Red Lobster which tends to be typically average. Kudos to the chef. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Made a reservation at 8 and was told I had to wait 15-20 mins to be seated. Asked hostesses what was the point of the reservation then. She proceeded to say they didn’t do reservations even though the restaurant is CLEARLY on Open Table. Was a whole mess.
Haven't been to RL in a while and was not happy that the meals do not come with a salad anymore but the pricing was even higher than before (4 for $140). They also took the shrimp linguini off as an option for the build your own. The lobster pizza was undercooked and the brussel sprouts were hard and some of them not even edible. Overall a very dissapointing experience. Not sure if I'll be back any time soon.
We had a reservation but still had to wait more than 20 minutes past to get seated. After our waitress served us she didn't come back to check on us.

If you are using Open Table, you need to verify they check you in. We went, checked in with the hostess stand, were told 15-20 minutes, waited that time then check in to see how much longer and the lady said 20-30 minutes - which she told the person after me who just walked in. Apparently the four people working the hostess stands can't use their technology. The main hostess was a very rude, curt blonde who was ignorantly telling people 20-30 minutes then telling people waiting for that time the same over and over---a guy before us had the same happen--when he checked time with her, she removed him from the list (he was sitting at the bar behind her and she watched him sit - then claimed she thought he left???). Talked to a manager, young Asian male, who was incompetent. Essentially said hmm, that's too bad, oh well. Said we will seat you then sat another party. The guy in front of us joined in--took them 10 minutes to seat them in one of two - 2 person tables that had been open the whole time. A second female manager came out and was great. She seated us and comped some apps then offered desserts. The waiter was wonderful-Nathan. They should replace the front staff because the food and wait staff was great. The second manager was great. The first one should not deal with people - not as a manager.
As the person with me said, it was good but not worth the earlier situation. Guessing we may not return or if we do-it will be after a long long while. Try a different Red Lobster.
They did not have any biscuits til the very end of the meal.
The actual service was slow although there were a lot of empty table. The server for got our bread which I was looking forward to. The bar drinks took forever to be made. My food was great but my partners crab was over cooked.
Although we had a 5:00 PM reservation using OPENTABLE, and we arrived about 4:50, it was 5:30 before we were seated. I am certain there were many couples seated before us who did not have reservations. Red Lobster didn't honor the reservation; so I wouldn't bother dining there again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
