   I unfortunately did not make the evening due to illness. However everyone else who made it thoroughly enjoyed their night. The venue, food, drink, ambience and service was superb. We will definitely back for another gathering.

   I was dining alone after attending a football match and I wanted somewhere near the train station. Making a reservation for one you are always apprehensive where you are going to get sat, some wobbly table out the way or right next to the kitchen. But I was pleasantly surprised that they had 2 spaces for single diners at the front of the restaurant looking out onto the street. So my back was to the entire restaurant but it was nice to watch the world go by outside. Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. I recommend the meatballs in a tomato sauce for starters and the Pizza Diavola was yummy. Not a tiny limp looking thin crust dough but big and puffy and doughy. I asked for some tap water and I got a glass and a jug full. I can’t really think of any negatives.

   The restaurant interior is fabulous however it took 25 minutes for someone to come over and take a drink order.. we ordered 2 bowls of pasta and garlic bread, pasta was freezing cold and garlic bread never arrived had to ask for it after 10 minutes… food also came before the drinks.. the only time the service was quick was when the bill needed to be paid.

   Really enjoyed the evening. Not cheap (nowhere is these days) but staff were really friendly, helpful and flexible when we wanted to sit on a bit longer.

    The interior of the restaurant is incredible, however it was severely let down by the service. Drinks took a long time, we waited so long for someone to take our order that we eventually had to prompt them. Non-attentive staff. A shame as the food was good and it's such a lovely place to be. Would definitely return for a drink, but not to eat unfortunately.

    Service was poor. Servers forgetting to bring drinks. Long wait for order to be taken. Waited so long for main course a different server asked if was wanted dessert before we got our main. Table of 4 and ordered bread and olives. Plate came with 2 bits of bread. We asked for more as there were 4 of us and they brought them later an charged an additional £3 for the other two bits of bread. Food was good. Service was deplorable. Considering the restaurant wasn’t full, it’s pretty poor.

    After our starters we waited for 50minutes for our main. And after that time they brought out our desert instead. Then when we said we waited another 20mins to be told it was just coming (which didnt for another 10mins). Then after that it was another 30/40mins for our desert. We were offered no discount. My girlfriends pasta wasnt fully cooked either. Not impressed and WONT be back.

    We waited 1.5 hours for our starter to come out and had to ask the waiter to see where it was, we then waited another 45 mins for our mains both of which were Luke warm and overall the quality wasn’t great. I ordered chips as a side for my main and the chips arrived at the table 20 minutes before the rest of our mains arrived. Overall we were pretty disappointed with our meal. We complained to our server and they spoke with their manager who agreed to give a pretty decent discount off our bill. I won’t be returning. I’ve since looked at other reviews and it appears to be the standard service in Roberta’s recently which is a shame because the restaurant is beautiful.

    A decent Italian. The service is good but the food is not as good as some other places in Glasgow. The setting is classy and it is an enjoyable place to be. The food could be better though hence why the 3 stars.

    Ice cold dining room and no apparent service. We waited 15 minutes for menus or any attention whatsoever (in a nearly empty dining room). Fearing that this was an indication of what was (or was not) to come, we left. Thus, I can’t review food or drink since we had none.

    Dry tasteless calamari. Mains were ok. The service was slow. The waiter made a mistake with a drink, took it away and then forgot to bring me the correct one. Overall a bit disappointing. Restaurant was not especially busy either.

    Unfortunately the whole experience was a bit of a disappointment. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar however the staff forgot to show us to a table at the appointed time and it appeared at one point they had given it away to a walk in. The next part of the saga was that the heating was broken so the dining area was freezing - still waiting for a member of staff to mention this , luckily the people on the adjacent table were able to fill us in. They unfortunately had ordered wine to go with their meal but it didn’t arrive at the table until they were finished eating. The starters - Haggis Fritters were alright but nothing to write home about . The main courses were a different matter all together, my sea bass was lovely, well cooked and very tasty however my husband’s main course the slow cooked beef was very dry and tough and he had to send it back. And that was the last time any member of staff came near the table. Some 20 minutes later we were able to flag down a member of staff and were able to pay the bill. During this time we were able watch another table send pizzas back as they were cold so all in all quite a disappointment evening.

    We were sat at a lovely booth near the door. Slightly cold but the decor was lovely. Service was extremely poor as we were sat for over 45 minutes with no asking us if we wanted a drink. My friend ended up going to the bar to place an order and we got our drinks an hour after being seated. The drinks were okay but not worth the money. The food was nice but again portion size was poor. My friends and I would have wanted wine with our dinner but due to the poor service, we were not able to order again and didn’t want to spend another money. One of the waitresses apologised at the end of the meal and gave our table free shots. This did not make up for the lack of communication and poor service throughout the meal.

    Had visited several times before and enjoyed but was left very disappointed with the entire experience this time around. Carbonara was made with penne pasta and tasted like burnt egg, both pizzas were completely burnt and dry and didn’t taste like much. Pizza toppings on one were cold, whilst the rest of the pizza was warm, which looked like they’d just been thrown on top once the pizza was out of the oven. Thank goodness we didn’t mind raw, uncooked peppers! Wait times between courses were enormous and there was no offers for drinks refills, despite us being one of only 3 tables in. Restaurant staff were busy huddling and chatting the majority of the time we were in, which resulted in us approaching to get service for drinks orders. Overall, a £95 bill on a Thursday night for a well below average meal and terrible, terrible service. A big disappointment considering previous visits.

    Half the group were delayed getting to the restaurant but the staff were great and reassured us we could have the table for longer! The service was excellent and the food, especially the pizzas were amazing. Highly recommended.

    Great visit . The starters: we chose mussels with white wine and the haggis fritters .The mussels were amazing and the haggis fritters were great. The Mains : were pretty damn good . The pizza is brilliant the lasagne is good. Desserts : the panna cotta was a fantastic dessert the creme brulee was good could only eat half . The service and team : Fantastic ! Dom done a grand job . Thank you folks for a wonderful new years eve meal .

    No sure what was going on maybe it was a bad day but the food was poor. Gamberoni was plain no taste and the sea bass was overcooked. My partners risotto was chalk like and again bland. Was a shame cause we looked forward to this new place but for the price and the quality it was far from value.

    Nice building with a pleasant ambiance. Great pizza, but my wife had sea bass potatoes and green vegetables which was bland. Service was odd - we felt like we were interrupting them, an inconvenience. Rushed, and “phew, they’re gone”.

    Thanks for a great meal guys. The food and service were excellent but too cold and not inviting at all. We only had a main course and left because it was so cold. Our waitress did turn the heating up but to be honest it was too little to late. We also choose not to stay for drinks either. I hope this helps with your feedback.

    It was the periphery that was our slight issue. Clearly the pizza guy was not happy about something. Our table gave us a ringside seat. My wife was delighted with her Sea Bass. My pizza was good but a bit burnt of the edges. See initial comment. Lack of focus maybe? We will come back as overall it was as good as our previous visit and there was the XMAS situation that we all have to contend with at this time

    First of all, the restaurant was very cold. I had to sit with my coat on. The staff were also cold and had to where scarves. Starters where on time and tasty. My main arrived cold and with no dressing, my sisters must have been sitting under a heat lamp and had congealed whilst waiting on my daughters pizza. The staff where lovely and replaced my food and took off the bill but the whole experience, the week before Christmas was poor.
