Rockin Robin Smokery
We visited Rockin Robin on a Saturday evening. We live in Kent but aren't local. The restaurant with busy with people who we presumed were locals and we were made to feel welcome.
We opted for two sharing platters between 4 of us. There was more than enough food (we didn't finish it all!). Everything was very tasty, however, we found the turkey and pork a little dry. Some sauce on it would have made it nicer.
The staff were all very friendly. It was a busy night so the service wasn't fast but we don't mind that. the waitress kept on apologising and she really didn't need to!
The only recommendation I have is to put sauces on the tables. We had to ask for sauce several times because they came out in tiny containers.
Really great food (and huge amounts!) and nice clean pub. It was very quiet when we went - would have been even better if it was a little bit more lively.... but still give it top marks and will go again soon
I’d been looking forward to trying out the beer & the food. I was not disappointed, it was an excellent night. Thanks
I had a lovely time with friends at the Rockin Robin Smokery. The food was delicious and the staff attentive The only reason I have marked it down as 4 stars was because they don't serve coffee which is frankly crazy! Come on chaps - even a cafetiere of coffee would be good! Madness. Will be back soon nonetheless.
We enjoyed the food, but no puddings.
If we came in the evening, we would like a pudding.
Lovely food, very pleasant staff, good value! Highly recommended!
Lovely lunch with my dad, Keith looked after us and was the perfect host and helped us make the right choice on the menu. Good selection of local beers too!
Just lacking something
Great food and service. Nice to have somewhere new and interesting to eat
Wonderful meal but make sure you have worked up an appetite to do it justice. Some good beers too.
Very good atmosphere
Delicious food, lovely beer, and a friendly welcome. This was our second visit and we’ll defintely be back.
Came here by chance recently after having driven past the night before.
Really friendly service, great menu with loads of choice, ridiculously good value for money.
The food was sensational! Huge portions and had the meatiest wings I've ever seen - the chickens must have been doing plenty of lifting.
We had the beef brisket and pulled pork. Both delicious and very succulent, plenty of flavour.
Will definitely come back. Saw a sharing plate for two go to another table that I'll be tucking in to next time.
A nice, small and stylish restaurant, big fan of the Rockin Robin brewery great beer and seems they have moved into great food as well :o)
Good friendly service. Good tasty food, very generous portions.
Great food and beer, a real lunch time treat.
