Comfortable casual and drenched in Southern charm, the Rose Villa combines its polished easygoing atmosphere with Southern cuisine, classic craft cocktails and an ample selection of Wines. Enjoy Chef Sylvia Kerry Herrera's signature Southern Fried Chicken or her award winning Shrimp and Grits. Each guest that walks through our doors is sure to have a story to tell. Built in in late 1800's Rose Villa was established as a boutique hotel and bed and breakfast in 1901.
The Gazebo is open for cocktails, lunch and dinner during the temperate months. With a relaxing fountain and abundant florals, the Gazebo and back porch seating is a great place to enjoy the Rose Villa. Dogs Welcome!
Upstairs is the Southern Speakeasy, "Whiskey at the Rose" and is making quite a stir among Bourbon aficionados with an array of high end Bourbons. Chef Sylvia has also gotten in on the action offering small plate appetizers and food tastings designed around whiskey and Bourbon during special events.

This restaurant accepted our reservation but on arrival was all boarded up with notes saying they were closed, they failed to inform us of this fact.

They close their business. They are no longer open. I had a reservation and no one called to cancel.

This restaurant has been permanently closed have an idea the owner wasn’t paying his staff. Five people drove up along with it also made reservations. It was terrible.’

I wouldn’t have gone here at all had I known the owner hasn’t paid his employees wages and has withheld tips. Very sad

Rose Villa was closed. Indefinately. The servers were protesting the day before allegedly claiming wage theft. Building boarded up. Please stop accepting reservations for this restaurant. We drove one hour, and had already valet parked our car.

Booked this reservation months ago. Got a confirmation text and email the day of the reservation. Drove an hour to the restaurant to be greeted by valet and told the restaurant hasn’t been opened for 2 days and no one has shown up. Would have been nice to be called by someone who managed the restaurant in advance before driving there that they were closed so we could have saved ourselves 2 hours of drive time.
