Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific. Guided by the freshest ingredients and my own sense of freedom, the menu is constantly evolving.

    Roy's is consistently the best meal we have each time on Maui. Tonight I had the best fish dinner of my life. My wife and I both ordered the Mac nut crusted Mahi. It was amazing. The drinks, service, appetizer, and dessert were A+

    Roy’s is always a great dining experience as the food and drinks are very flavorful and a great presentation. The service is always good too.

    We visited Roy’s in February 2026, the meal we both had was good but not great, I believe we just didn’t order what we wanted instead we listed to a description and got something neither one of us really wanted. Skip to October 2026, we had the most fabulous meal, and honestly every single item was beyond delicious, the service was absolutely fantastic and the drinks too. This restaurant is on our must visit every trip to Maui list from now on

    I had the butterfish early bird special with paired wines. The wines were very nice other than the final port which was a 4 on a 10 scale. I read a couple of reviews of the buttetfish in which people stated that it was overly sweet. I brought this up with the waiter and he suggested I have all the sauces served on the side. Great idea! I loved two of the sauces/condiments and disliked the overly sweet and salty soy sauce mix. Note: butterfish is slightly fishy as is, but is extremely tender with a very soft texture.

    My husband and I celebrated our 1 yr wedding anniversary at Roy’s and it was wonderful. We arrived early and we were seated right away. Our servers were wonderful… exceptional, welcoming and made our experience top knotch. Zamir (Manager) is a wonderful asset to your company. His warm welcome and periodic check in throughout the night established that he cared about our comfort and that we were enjoying our time. We ordered the Twilight menu with wine pairing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The price point was excellent. We would definitely come back and refer our friends.

    Went early and had the prix fixe special featuring the butterfish which was very tender and well seasoned. Opened with a tasty calamari strip appetizer and finished with the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. All delicious. The only downside were the green beans served with the main dish. Under cooked and not at all tasty like all the other components. Service was excellent and so nice to have space between tables and a window seat overlooking the golf course.
