As our honored guests, we at Sahara would like to share with you our story and give you a glimpse into the history, culture and exquisite cuisine that has known the world over and growing increasingly popular as Mediterranean food becomes more accessible to the people who are in search of it’s tantalizing flavors and splendid array of dishes. The term Mediterranean derives from the Latin word mediterraneus, meaning "in the middle of earth" (medius, "middle" + terra, "land, earth"). The Mediterranean Sea links continents, cultures, languages, religions and cuisines. The common ground is that the people of the Mediterranean see themselves as living in the center of the world. The shores reflect a beauty rare to most who have never seen it’s fascinating brilliance of colors. Mediterranean cuisine, alike its shores embody the core of its existence, color. I love the food here but was disappointed to find out they were under renovation which meant the access to the bar was very limited. It was New Year’s Eve and we wanted a glass of wine with dinner and it wasn’t available. The rest of dinner was amazing. The chicken kabob with lemon garlic sauce is the best thing I’ve ever eaten.

The food here is good, but the service is enough to not want to come here to dine in. Several times we have gone there to dine, and each time the service has been beyond horrible; something is always wrong with our order, they’re very unfriendly/seem disinterested, and they are not willing to modify any of their food (which normally would be easy and not a problem anywhere else). There’s lots of other Mediterranean places around the area, I’d recommend finding another spot or ordering take-out if it is an easy dish that one could not mess up. I won’t be surprised if they go out of business at one point or another.

The food was good, the service was good, and our server was friendly. The only issue (not a problem), is with the bread. It seems we always have to ask for more bread. When eating spreads and putting other food into the bread, it’s easy to use it up quickly. At the end of the meal, we just continued to eat without the bread, but when we asked for takeout containers, we did order some more bread. We do like the restaurant and the food and will continue to dine there.

The food was great and the service was good. The only thing that was a little frustrating was that there were seven of us, all adults, and we had to keep asking for bread, which the server would bring out immediately but in limited quantities. It’s frustrating when you’re eating food and spreads you like to eat with bread like the garlic spread, lamb, and Shish Kafka, to name a few. There was not a single piece of bread left at the end of dinner, and unfortunately, I forgot to ask for a carry out order of bread to purchase for myself and family. However, as I stated, the service was good and the food was great!
