Thank you Chef Melvin. I have ordered the Peach/Proscuitto appetizer salad twice now and it is just wonderful! I had the snapper entree last evening and enjoyed it too.

★★★★★ Dining at the Salmagundi Club is a wonderful experience. The restaurant combines excellent food and attentive service with the atmosphere of one of New York’s most historic and beautiful arts institutions. The setting is warm, elegant, and full of character, making the meal feel special without being overly formal. The staff was welcoming and professional, the food was thoughtfully prepared, and the entire experience reflected the Club’s tradition of hospitality.

If you want to eat in peace and enjoy hearing conversation instead of background noise, this is the place. Good food too.

Excellent food, friendly but not very efficient wait-staff. Extra surcharge for non-members of the “club”, which we did not notice on the menu (could be we missed it). Nice find, housed in a “guided-age” mansion.

Chef and staff at Salmagundi prepare creative food and match the food with good service, and nice wine and drinks from the bar.
