You might think "vegan sushi" is a oxymoron, but Screaming Tuna makes it a delicious reality! Their vegan options are nothing short of amazing every time, but their extended offerings during Milwaukee Vegan Restaurant Week make it even better! Thank you Cristian and team Tuna for always making dinner a memorable experience.

I’ve had multiple great dining experiences at Screaming Tuna and have always left quite happy but this most recent time was out of the ordinary. There was a large party in the private dining section which I’m sure contributed to the poor experience we had. We got our drinks and appetizer in a normal amount of time but the entree never came and after an extensive wait time the waiter offered a second round of drinks, comped, as an apology. Then the waiter disappeared for quite a while, to the point that we went and asked the hostess about the status of our entree because we had been seated for over an hour. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive our meal because we opted to leave to head to our next event. The staff was kind enough to comp our appetizer and drinks as an apology but it was still disappointing.

Food was good as always, crowd was a little loud I believe due to the brewers parade and random people in there that day, its usually more mellow.

There were very few customers in the restaurant yet it took over an hour and a half to get our sushi.

Our first time at Screaming Tuns won’t be our last! The food was SO good! Nick, our server was attentive and knowledgeable as we made our order decisions. The view of the river was great! And the food, (I know I said it before) was excellent!

The food is always tasty (especially for vegetarians - it's great to have creative options), the service is friendly and helpful, and the view is just beautiful.

Our server was great but some of the fish was bad and we had to send it back. The yellowtail sashimi and crab roll were very fishy tasting.

We ordered three rolls from the speciality roll options, but none of them were very impressive. Two of the rolls were decent, but not overly flavorful and had too much rice. The third roll had bad fish and we couldn't finish it. The restaurant was only a third full and not a great atmosphere. I will say the setting is lovely, so we enjoyed looking at the water and boats.
