Over dit restaurant

Geschikt voor vegans
Innovatief
Juweeltje in de wijk

British Sikh inspired community kitchen where we encourage community cohesion - bookings are based on a first come first served basis. We operate a sit where there is space policy and encourage our guests to sit where there is room. Order at the bar and collect them food from the server and sit on our benches where there is room and have some great conversations with strangers. The best and most meaningful conversations happen over wholesome food. We run Sheffield’s first alcohol free bar - whilst we are vegetarian restaurant most our dishes are vegan* (*ask at restaurant for clarification). We welcome you to Shaanti Town - in a more polarised world we want to bring people back together over good punjabi thali food. We also have a cosy lounge with books and games for all ages and welcome families to stay throughout the night.

It's a lovely place, nice vibe on surroundings, beautiful on a summer evening, let down by the food. Thali should have a couple of tasty curries backed up by lots of bread or rice but the portions just felt like a spoonful of everything. The curries were okay but no more than that, and all lukewarm at best. Scribbled changes on the menu and other stuff not available didn't help either - all felt a bit awkward. Great potential but this isn't doing it atm.

This kind of dining is a great concept. The food was good but the quantity of food makes it good for lunch rather than an evening meal. Nice atmosphere and good place to go with friends.

A unique environment and original concept.I enjoyed the full experience here and will definitely return. The food was varied with good flavours prepared with fresh ingredients. I'm vegan there was plenty to choose from buty friend isn't we were both happy with the meal. Amazing staff who explained the traditional aspect and holistic wellbeing ethos. We didn't mind no alcohol as it's an inclusive space. The drinks menu was great too. The lounge was boho chic and very relaxing. Try this place you won't be disappointed ❤️‍🔥
