Over dit restaurant

Since the 1970s Shabab restaurants have been fighting against the red-flocked flock of Indian restaurants spreading across the UK in all their tasteless glory. By bringing authenticity and style to Asian cuisine, the Shabab brand has shown that eating Indian isn’t just about grabbing a bite with beer. Here on Bishopsgate Street , serving great food to the masses in too much of a hurry to be chained to the dinner table. Taking a selection of favourites from the fantastic Shabab menu, meals are freshly prepared to order– a treat to remember and complete your visit to fantastic Leeds.

Pretty poor service and food at Shabab Express, Leeds although the express part lived up to it's name! We felt rushed, that the food was quite generic (two completely separate dishes we ordered were exactly the same I kid you not...) Lovely chapatis though! Coffee tasted rubbery and stale. Won't be returning which is a shame as the place is lovely in terms of decor and it was certainly busy on a saturday night, we paid £20 a head though and everyone had indigestion afterwards.

Shabab Express offers a nice welcome and good food. Fish Jalfrezi was great. Sag Paneer a bit sweet for my taste as were chutneys with the papadoms.

We were visiting Leeds for the weekend from London and what a pleasant evening we had. The staff were most attentive from the moment we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will most certainly return.

Went to Shabab Express in Leeds and as usual, enjoyed it very much. The food is always good and the staff friendly. They have refurbed the restaurant with the tables and chairs from the Shebab Restaurant on Eastgate and so the inside no longer looks like Dino's from old!
