Tucked away between Vincent Square and Smith Square and nestling on the ground floor of the art deco Marsham Court, Shepherd's of Westminster offers British classics with an up to date approach in a beautifully appointed dining room.

At Shepherd's we champion the very best British produce with a seasonal provenance-led menu, an extensive wine list and comprehensive drinks offering - including a great cocktail selection. We have two private dining rooms that can accommodate a table of 8 to a party of 30.

Great food and good service. We had a special starter for share- Sardines with lemon and breadcrumbs. It was cooked well and really delicious. For main course, we ordered shepherd’s pie and baked artichokes with beans and peas. They were spot on. Finally, dessert menu, we ordered a dark chocolate terrine with cherries and creme fraiche. We really love it. It was so tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will visit this place again.

Very pleasant place for a private lunch. Food was excellent, as was the service. Especially recommend the Shepherd's Pie.

Would prefer less salt in the vegetable beans with the lamb. We were also disappointed not to have the mint sauce Would have enjoyed gooseberry crumble with custard rather than clotted cream/ice cream. Cauliflower cheese and spinach dishes would be nice change for vegetarians!

Excellent value with Open Table offer. Food delicious and wine not expensive. Very quiet on a Friday lunchtime.

Pleased to be back after a long break away and very happy to see old standards re-established after its period of closure. Helpful staff with a nice welcome. Calm and relaxing ambience with all the trimmings you'd expect of a restaurant of this calibre.

Shepherd’s was, as usual, a fantastic experience. I’m a regular, but they overheard my friend wishing me happy birthday and brought over complimentary champagne. Would absolutely recommend this hidden gem in the heart of Westminster!

We were visiting London and looking for a restaurant, not a pub atmosphere. The menu was interesting, the food delicious, and the ambience appropriate for the Westminster location near the Houses of Parliament and the Tate Britain. It was a very short walk from our hotel as a bonus.

Sent my bosses here for a lunch meeting - it was somewhere new to try. They thoroughly enjoyed the food and the restaurant which is now on my list of places to revisit.

Lunch menu has changed and was somewhat limited. Strange to have chicken pate already spread on brioche, making it difficult for those who wanted to manage the portion themselves.
