Review for Shinto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar I recently took a couple of friends to Shinto for their first time, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. We chose to sit at the Hibachi grill, which provided a lively atmosphere, especially with another friendly couple seated with us. This made my friends' first visit even more enjoyable. Our waitress was attentive, and the chef put on an entertaining show while preparing our meal, just like we've come to expect from Shinto. The food was fantastic, as always – a perfect blend of flavors and presentation that left us all satisfied. Shinto is a versatile dining option that's perfect for any occasion, whether it's a casual dinner or a special celebration. I highly recommend it, especially if you have visitors in town. It’s a fun experience that showcases the best of Japanese cuisine!

Food is always amazing! Our chef was talented and extremely funny! Made the experience even better! I was so happy to see so many gluten free options! My dinner was prepared separately but brought out when the chef was plating my guests! Felt safe to eat here!

Unfortunatly we didn't have a very demonstrative chef. We realize we have been here many times, but that doesn't mean we don't want the show. Also, apparently rare steak is really difficult to cook. He even got another steak and cooked it again, but it was medium. It just isn't how it used to be.

Worst hibachi experience we have had. Came to Shinto specifically because we have had a good experience in the past and considered it to be of better quality than some of the other local hibachi places. We were seated right at our reservation time but it took a server over 10 mins (almost 15) to come and take our drink order. After that she disappeared and we didn’t see her again for a long time. She forgot to bring our son a drink that he ordered and we finally had to go ask someone to bring it. Took 45 minutes from the time we were seated until his pop was brought to the table. Took almost an hour for the cook to show up to our table and it took him an abnormally long time to cook our food once he did show up. Over cooked the steak and chicken, even burning some of the chicken. I upgraded to filet for steak however he served regular steak. Wife ordered salmon and it was never brought out or cooked. The cook acted as if it was his first day, didn’t know what he was doing, or was under the influence of something. Overall very poor experience and probably won’t be going back.

The food was absolutely delicious. The servers were very attentive and our chef was great! You definitely get your money's worth of food! We had leftovers to bring home

The only issue is they jammed two individual parties in one table. Two of the people in our party were not even by grill. The chefs cart actually sat right in from of them. Food was great and based on the cost of eating out in today’s high prices they were very reasonable for what you get.
