We made this reservation as we were from out of town and got there only to realize they were closed. Disappointed and had to scramble for another place that would take six people at the last minute.

Hello Kim, thank you for reaching out and I sincerely apologize for what happened. They had an unexpected closure due to a hot water tank issue that needed to be replaced, and it's clear our team fell short in reaching out to guests with reservations, including yours. That's on us, and there's no excuse for leaving a group of six to scramble for another spot while visiting from out of town. We have addressed this directly with the team to make sure reservation are contacted right away any time we have an unplanned closure. I'd like to make this right — please reach out to me directly so we can turn this around for you the next time you're in Napanee. I would like to offer you a gift. Again, I'm sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused your group.

The service was amazing along with the food. At around 6:30 on a Sunday night we were the last table in the place so it was nice and easy to talk.

Food was excellent and service was fast. The only thing is, they need more of a selection for main entrees. I like to try new things but there isn't a lot to chose from.

What a beautiful evening we had, celebrating our young daughter's birthday! I booked a week ahead using OpenTable and felt very assured that I would get the booth and a (secret) sing-along for her birthday dessert. Staff did NOT disappoint at all. We had the perfect table, amazing foid and drinks, and they even joined in and gave her a beautiful memory singing "Happy birthday!" It was such a nice evening, I thank you all so, so much. We will be back very soon to enjoy more of Napanee Shoeless Joe's. You are all lovely.

This is not a negative review about Shoeless Joe’s in Napanee. It is a negative review about Open Table booking system. I had made reservations using Open Table. I got a confirmation email regarding this reservation only to find out that the restaurant was closed ( and has been closed for quite sometime). This left us scrambling at the last minute to find and alternate restaurant. Open Table should be able to do better. You need to fix this problem.

We were a party of adults and 5 kids (one in a high chair). We made the reservation an hour before arriving. We were taken right in at the appointed time even though the place was very busy. The service could not have been more attentive and the food was excellent. Lots of things for kids as well as adults.

Food was great. Overall it was great. Only issue u had was wait times. Server was nice but it took 10 minutes to get a drink order, 10 more mins to get a drink. 20 minutes for our actual food order to be taken. At the end, it took 10 mins for them to ask us if we wanted the bill, and another 20 minutes to actually get it. Not sure about staffing, but I've seen busier with better service than that. We'll be coming back, just hope that the majority of our time is actually enjoying it instead of waiting for whatever... 20 minutes for a bill is especially absurd...

We have dined at this location before, but found the food, service and noise level much improved over previous experiences. On this occasion we requested a quiet table and our server patiently waited while we chose a different one. She was efficient and friendly, and never made us feel rushed. The food was very good, served quickly and all 4 of us said we'd have the same thing again.
