Het Amsterdamse restaurant Singel 101 serveert eigentijdse creaties van een wisselend menu met seizoensgebonden producten in een gezellige en ontspannen sfeer. Hoewel het menu vaak verandert, vormen de volgende gerechten een mooi voorbeeld van wat je bij Singel 101 te wachten staat, omdat ze al eens eerder op de kaart stonden.

Valóban jó a hely! Zseniális a kóstoló menüsor, emberközeli a vacsora élmény, annak minden elemében. Izgalmasak az ízek kombinációja, letisztult a tálalás és nagyon odafigyelt a személyzet ránk. Javasolom minden Amsterdamba utazónak hogy még most foglaljon asztalt ide, mert a mellettem étkező Guide Michelin ellenőr jelentése után erre egyre hosszabb várólista után lesz csak lehetősége a jövőben…!

Meerdere malen gegeten in Singel101 iedere 6 weken nieuw origineel menu. Aparte goede wijnen. 5 gangen menu was origineel, smaakvol en verfijnd. Opmaak van de gerechten is zeer verzorgd. De bediening is hartelijk en geïnteresseerd in de gasten.

It was. Lovely restaurant but very loud. But there was a group of 15 women having a surprise party which contributed greatly to the noise level. I suspect it would have been considerably quieter had that not been the case. Aside from that it was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was wonderful and the place is quaint. The food was good but the quantities a little light. The concept is a 3, 4, or 5 course meal decided by the chef, but I it would have been nice to know what each course would be in order to decide what we wanted or if we would want to stay. The bigger part was the cost of the meal with a bottle of water and three glasses of wine that came in at $123 Euro. Not worth what we got.

Intimate space with owner as your server. Different course meals to choose from. Only a wine menu since food is a surprise. She asks what you don’t like to eat so chef accommodates you. Food was delicious with photo worthy presentation. Nicest meal for us in Amsterdam and overlooking a canal.

What a wonderful hidden Gem. The food was simply amazing, and you could tell that this is a much-loved family run business. The service was personal and efficient even though they were obviously very busy and a staff member down. I can't wait to return on our next visit this May.

Singel 101 is a delightful fine dining restaurant in a perfect location right by the canal. We found it almost by accident but chose well, sitting outside on a hot clammy evening as the sun went down. The service was warm, friendly and attentive throughout, the food (no menu) inventive and delicious. Pick of the courses was a cured salmon appetiser and a dessert based on chocolate mousse. Venison main a touch overcooked but I can forgive a lot for this memorable evening

Excellent restaurant! Located right on the canal at a corner of a street. Limited outdoor seating. We were lucky to get a table for 2. No menus, just chef's choice in your selection of a 3, 4 or 5 course dinner. We did one vegetarian a regular option. Portions are not big, (which is great!) but delicately flavored and delicious. Would definitely revisit.

The food was excellent and service was good. It was a tasting menu of 3, 4 or 5 courses. We chose 3 courses and felt that we could have eaten more. So would choose 4 or 5 courses if we go again.

Everything is well prepared and we are outside so the ambiance was amazing. We are the 4-course chef’s menu. Food was great, however, neither of us are fans of salmon. We reached our annual salmon quota, but it was good. My wife doesn’t do well with tomatoes and second course was a salad with a focus on tomatoes, but again it was well prepared and sauce was amazing. Beef Tenderloin for third course was the best for us followed by a wonderful chocolate mousse atop peaches closed the selection on a high note. They accommodated my allergies as well, but with Chef’s selection you may end up with some foods that aren’t your favorite, even if they’re prepared well and tasty.

Absolutely amazing food and accommodating to the person in our party that was vegetarian. Julia was a very attentive and lovely waitress. We had the best food and tried things we probably wouldn’t try without it being presented to us.

Food was delicious and service was lovely. You just have to buy into the concept of “chef’s choice” and a surprise dinner. We loved it, but not for everyone. They do ask about any food restrictions and adjust the servings accordingly. We sat near the door and got to look out at the canal and do a little people watching. A fun night!

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant is. I Googled top restaurants in Amsterdam and Singel restaurant came up. I was impressed with their reviews and liked their concept of 3,4, or 5 course meal and not knowing what those dishes would be. I’m a New York foodie and this restaurant met those criteria and the owner is a truly lovely person who even called us a cab that get us back to our hotel. Don’t miss this opportunity for a special experience

Booked at the last minute and we had the last table in the restaurant. Easy and friendly service made us feel very at home. We opted for 4 courses and were delighted with what arrived - accommodating one non gluten eater with ease. Salmon, asparagus, beef and chocolate pudding. Delicious and such good value. Loved it.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here while visiting Amsterdam. We chose the 3 course meal and then the choices were up to the chef. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious. The owner was friendly and informative, very interesting path from Chile to Amsterdam, very welcoming. We will definitely return.
