Our story so far... After much research throughout the States, Smokin Bones had its first outing in Herbert Park in 2014. Barbecue has grown to be a way of life for the Smokin Bones team and is much more than smoky meats and juicy flavours. Barbecue is about friends gathering together and sharing good food in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. That’s what we aim to achieve in our locations, from the head chef to your server on the floor. Thanks for your custom and we hope you enjoy your visit. Smokin Bones is 100% Irish owned and apart from visiting any of our locations you can now enjoy our great smoked flavours at home. Order online for home delivery or visit our online shop and order our unique ‘BBQ in a Box’. Barbecue at home could not be easier.

The rack of ribs I ordered was barely warm and the meat was tough. The tables and seats were worn and not clean. The service was very slow, at one point my wife and I were going to leave before our meal was served as it was taking too long.

On the plus side the food was lovely.. the brisket was amazing and my wifes pork ribs fell off the bone and the Tennessey whiskey sauce was a brilliant accompaniment.. on the negative side staff need to be educated on voucher..we were told by a Spanish sounding not very pleasant server advised us we didn't get sides if a meal was served with sides, only for burgers and pointed out what we couldn't have..i didn't like that..the voucher clearly stated 2 mains with sides for 2 (nothing about a certain selection of mains), whereas when another Asian server approached us it was a coletely different story..we could still get 2 sides each even though the mains came with a choice of 2 sides..if the first server wasn't sure about what you could get on a wowcher deal she should have asked, thanks to the Asian chap for knowing his stuff and for treating us like paying customers..not some pleb off the street, wish I asked his name.. the Spanish girl should learn some manners..confusion aside the food more than made up for it..Still wouldn't go back there again.. that's kinda done now

felt like we were rushed through by the waiter, even though we kept asking for more time to read the menu. Food was average, with a large amount of the food we ordered coming out cold.

Everything was very good but there was a loud group of people next to us shouting the whole time even after staff asked them to be quiet
