El lugar está súper bien. Nos gustó mucho la comida le puedo dar un 9/10, porque siento que es postre lo debieron calentar, a modo general el servicio del mesero fue 10/10 muy atento y servicial. Sus recomendaciones fueron muy buenas.

My steak was overcooked and I sent it back. They made me a new one which smelled raw I could not eat it. My partner liked the salmon. The Alfredo sauce didn’t taste like it was made in house reminded me a Classico Jar Alfredo sauce. It was my partner’s birthday and they sang Happy Birthday which was nice. It felt rushed because it was right before closing time.

This was my second time dining here. I absolutely love their fettuccine Alfredo and the ribeye. Their sauce is the perfect balance of cream and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection and really well seasoned. Everything was very flavorful. And the service was outstanding. Luis waited on us. He was very attentive, providing great recommendations and amazing service!

This review is completely rhetorical and hypothetical. You see, we were disappointed that traffic in Old San Juan prevented us from getting to the restaurant. After 30 minutes of being around the corner, frustrated that we couldn’t find any parking, I called the restaurant to inform them I would not make it. I’m sure it’s a lovely place. My next attempt will be via Uber. Impossible to find parking at this location.

Our server was amazing! I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. He went above and beyond to engage my 13 yr old granddaughter. He was teaching her Spanish and he gathered the other servers to sing happy birthday to her. He made the night!

The reservation was for 5:00 PM, and I was already leaving by around 5:30. While the atmosphere and food were good, the service—though very friendly and helpful—rushed us too much; it didn't allow us to converse, as they cleared the plates quickly and presented the bill less than five minutes after we finished dinner. I agreed to it out of courtesy, but it left a bitter taste regarding my mom's birthday dinner.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sophia’s in Old San Juan NEVER disappoints! Another absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food, wine, atmosphere, and especially the service were all top-notch! Our server, Domingo, was INCREDIBLE. He was attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made our entire dinner feel extra special. Truly outstanding service and exactly the kind of person who makes you want to come back again and again! And the food… WOW! 😍 The mahi-mahi was cooked beautifully, the steak was delicious, the fettuccine Alfredo was creamy and absolutely amazing, and even the asparagus deserves its own shoutout! Everything paired perfectly with our wine. 🍷 Sophia’s has become one of those places where we know we’re going to have a great time, enjoy an incredible meal, and leave happy. If you’re visiting Old San Juan, put Sophia’s on your list — and if you’re lucky enough to have Domingo taking care of you, you’re in for a fantastic evening! 10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere, and 10/10 service! ❤️
