Soothr’s newest location in LIC! 🤩 @soothr.lic just opened up recently and I’m all about it! I love how more restaurants are opening up in Queens which is closer to me! 🤣 I attended their grand opening event where they had free food samples, cocktails, free gifts, mahjong stations, and aura readings! Finally made it to Soothr LIC and wow… easily one of the best Thai spots I’ve been to. The ambiance is stunning and so thoughtfully designed, the service was so warm, and the food + drinks were chef’s kiss.✨ Everything we tried was amazing, but the stars of the night were the Roasted Vegetable Trio Masamun Curry and the Crab Fried Rice. A congrats to @soothr.lic for their highly anticipated (and well received) opening in LIC! Their interior inspired by Yaowarat - one of the largest Chinatowns in the world & in Bangkok - is absolutely stunning and quite large. Their similarly influenced menu hosts LIC specialty items like the Yaowarat Roasted Duck or the Dungeness Crab Karee - flavorful and a crowd pleaser. They’ve been extremely busy since opening, so recommend snagging a reservation if you can! Of note, one of our items was actually wrong (soft opening oopsies I suppose), but just be careful if you have any food intolerances or allergens (originally ordered a non dairy ba mii pu and got dairy karee pu noodles and even when we asked waiter to verify since it looked wrong she confirmed it was the correct dish, then we later found out it was indeed wrong lol). Portions may also be on the smaller side especially considering the price. Overall, loved the flavors and the new additions on the menu + gorgeous ambiance, just be aware they are busy & be prepared to drop some monies on this. We didn’t check it out this time, but to the side they have a cafe by day and bar by night addition as well. The Opening of Soothr couldn’t have left me more excited 🐲❤️🥟✨ To celebrate, @soothr.lic hosted a night to bring the vibrant spirit of Bangkok’s Yaowarat Chinatown to New York - and I was loving it!! Highlighted stations: 🥢 Yaowarat duck noodles 🧧 Crab cakes with caviar 🥢 Dim sum 🧧 Live music and casino games 🥢 Incredible cocktails 🧧 Sato spirts from the ice luge, and more! All I can say is this team knows how to throw an event!
