   Eten was ok, maar we werden opgejaagd door de bediening ondanks het feit dat het niet volzet was. Glaasje win was super duur.

Het spijt me te horen dat u zich gehaast voelde tijdens uw bezoek en dat de wijn te duur was. Ons doel is om al onze gasten een plezierige ervaring te bieden en het spijt me als we daar bij deze gelegenheid niet in zijn geslaagd. Ik zal uw opmerkingen doorgeven aan ons managementteam zodat ze kunnen worden aangepakt.

   Attended after a spa day with my friend. Food and drinks were lovely. I've never had such a nice virgin cocktail! Staff were very nice and attentive. The decor was lovely and it felt a lot more formal than I was expecting. There were however a few down points that outweighed our overall experience. When we arrived, we said we had a booking but they didn't take my name and just told us to choose where to sit. My friend ordered a roast dinner and was told there was no roast dinners available, only to witness one come out half an hour later which was quite disappointing. I don't know whether we chose the wrong seat table to sit but we were close to the till and witnessed management talk down to their staff and it was quite uncomfortable to be around.

   From the photos & on arrival the place is smart, staff are welcoming. We got served drinks & a sharing starter; then proceeded to wait 1hr 15mins while everyone around us was served mains (both tables either side arrived after we did) after 3 prompts & a final, we need to leave soon got us our mains. I think they lost our order. Im pleased to say we received a good discount for what was a disappointing mothers day lunch with my kids.

   A birthday celebration- the staff were attentive, but not over bearing. The service of each course was excellent and the quality and flavours perfect for the dishes that we chose. The Hake panfried with green lentils and peas, lobster and crayfish bisque was delicious, fresh and hot . We wanted to have an early dinner, but would perhaps next time make it a little later as by the time we were leaving the piano player was just getting into full swing and was a pleasure to hear. The desserts were very good, and having them brought to the table (on a rather too small dessert board- as they all looked so good and were a little cramped on the board ) we chose the apple tart tatain and creme brûlée. The finishing at the table with the flambé of the tart tatin was great to see and tasted equally as good. Will definitely return , and thank you for a most enjoyable early evening dinner.

   Delicious food and nice venue, service a bit slow on Mother’s Day but staff were very friendly. Music was a bit hit and miss but overall a fun meal. Would recommend.

   Beautiful setting, fabulous service. The food is excellent, arrived quickly despite it being quite busy. Added bonus having the piano player who was absolutely brilliant. Amazing evening, would definitely book again, oh and the cocktails are delicious 😋 Would definitely recommended to family and friends. They also have out door sitting over looking the Abby, perfect for a summers evening

    Food was amazing as was the service! We were initially sat next to a very noisy table and very discreetly the waitress picked up on this and moved us round the other side. There was a great guitarist who played great music while we ate our dinner. All food was second to none and would highly recommend

    Booked by chance without checking reviews. All the stuff we're very attentive giving us space and time to settle in and relax. The restaurant ran like clockwork and beautiful attention to detail. Friendly, romantic and a beautiful setting. The Piano man was a great act doing requests too a good repertoire.

    Good service but the atmosphere was a bit weird, not sure if they are trying to be a full on dinning or pub grub!, ordered the falafel and calamari to start both were terrible dry and chewy (calamari is from a frozen bag!). Main was basic it’s like going kebab shop after night out but eating it in a restaurant and paying three times as much. Such a shame as really had our hopes up and wished it was better as we need more nice places to eat in Bath.

    Surprised to arrive and find a guitarist and vocalist who was very loud playing in one room. Offered choice of 2 tables in same room that he was performing in and couldn’t hold a conversation due to the volume. Was moved to a table upstairs which was much better. Calamari average. Steaks fantastic and smoked mash is recommended. Staff very helpful.

    The singer there was amazing but it was to loud if you sat near the bar we couldn’t hear the waitress or have a conversation with each other .

    Good food and great service and really good music! We ate dinner upstairs and it was really nice We then moved into the bar for the live music which was very entertaining! So glad we booked and would highly recommend

    We had a lovely time at The Square Bar and Grill! Having picked it by luck on this OpenTable website, we are so happy with the food and the service that we will definitely be going back! At first glance the menu can seem a bit on the expensive side, but for the quality of what they're serving, it's 100% worth it.

    The team were late taken us to our table, although when were seated, the service was good and the food tasted great, especially the flavours in prawn and chilli starter, and the roasted chicken in the chicken supreme.
