   We just did apps and drinks. Loved every single thing (dates, goat cheese, guava pastry, key lime donuts, yellowfin tuna tartare, and oysters). Service was noticeably slow and that seemed to be staffing related, not our waitress.

   We were seated in the area immediately near the restaurant entrance by the bar and were pretty exposed to all of the drunken humanity walking the hotel corridor immediately outside. Not a comfortable dining experience. The food was fairly spotty. The corn "ribs" recommended to us were terrible and completely unimaginative - a corn cob cut into quarters, charred and slathered with mediocre BBQ sauce. The yellowfin, salmon and yellowtail rolls/appetizers and the short rib and octopus entrees had good flavor but presentation was dull and they were very minimalistic dishes with no sides. Overall this was a very un-special Vegas dining experience. It served us in a pinch, but I wouldn't bother coming back or recommending this to anyone.

    Busy Friday night with what looked like a private event. Got seated at my reservation time without any issue. The host were very warm and welcoming. Within a minute of being sat was greeted by my server, who listed the specials for the night. Ended up getting 2 cocktails, the first being I believe it’s called the rum and bramble, the second being the one in a melon. Both were outstanding, a little on the sweeter side, but understandable for the ingredients listed. For dinner I went with the crispy polenta, shrimp ceviche, and the octopus. The polenta was amazing, I suggest cutting them straight in half with your fork to help cool it down a bit, and using it to scoop up the parm and purée underneath. The ceviche although not a real ceviche(shrimp was poached) was tasty, never woulda thought about putting celery in ceviche but it works. And lastly the octopus, cooked absolutely perfectly and if you’ve ever tried cooking octopus yourself you understand how hard it is to get it right, also seemed to be a total of 2 tentacles on the skewer which is a great value if you know the price of Spanish octopus. Overall a great experience from beginning to end.

    Had brunch at Sugarcane. The menu is creative, and the food is delicious. We had the Cuban Benedict, the avocado toast, and the poke. All were winners--fresh, with nice flavor touches like the roasted corn in the avocado toast and the pickles in the Cuban Benedict.

    Had reservations so there was no wait time. The food was excellent as usual. The only disheartening thing was that our waiter seemed interested in communicating only with people who appeared to be of the fancier class, dressed in suits, dresses, etc. He asked the people next to us several times how everything was, kept asking if they needed anything and was holding conversation with them. We saw the same thing at two other tables as well. It was just very disappointing as the same treatment would’ve been appreciated. Still left a nice tip as the food was great and we were hoping it would help him with a change of attitude in how he presents himself to ALL people.

    Everything was wonderful and our server was just the right amount of attentive. We picked a few apps (wings, goat cheese balls, cool spicy corn, bacon wrapped dates) and a dozen oysters. Then we rethought our wishes for sides and chose this wonderful French toast dulce de leche concoction that we wished we’d had first so we could have eaten more. Would absolutely return again.

    I confess that I was surprise how delicious my food was ! They serve brunch until 4pm and I ordered the truffle toad in the hole (truffle brioche with melted Brie and a sunny side egg with a side of bacon. I am thinking about repeating my brunch tomorrow!

    We sat at our table for 15+ minutes before 8 had to ask someone to take our drink order. When they brought the drinks, they brought a diet instead of regular soda. We ordered multiple different items, tuna tartare, salmon on crispy rice, empanadas, lamb chops, wings and 2 orders of the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. All of the fish dishes were very good, empanadas were also tasty. The chimichurri steak was terrible. So chewy I could not even cut it with a knife. We sent it back and ordered more of the salmon on crispy rice. When I asked for a refill of my Pepsi, they ended up bringing diet again. I understand tapas are small plates, but most places I have had tapas at give a bit bigger portions, not a huge deal there. I probably would not go again.

    For our last night in Vegas we wanted something unique. We enjoyed our cocktails and had great food. Each dish we chose had a unique twist and was delicious. We were able to sit towards the back of the restaurant so the noise level was fine.

    The manager, Alex? Reseated us per request which was very appreciated. The food was delicious! The “background” music was so loud and alternative genre, it was distracting and gave me a headache. Otherwise we had a great dinner.

    We came here for brunch. Our food choices were excellent. The standout was the Cuban Benedict. So good. Key lime donuts were also a hit. Our server was very attentive. Worth a visit!

    Hi - I recently wrote a one star review for Sugarcane saying they never sat us for our reservation. We had dinner at Sugarcane and had brunch at another restaurant. I got them mixed up. Im so sorry! We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant and would recommend to everyone.

    The food was okay, but there’s plenty of good places to dine in at Vegas. However, the service was terrible. I waited for more than 25 minutes to get the attention of my server. I had to ask three different people for my bill, on 4 different occasions. The girl at the front desk even told me “sorry, I forgot”. That’s how little attention they payed. The restaurant was fairly empty. I wanted to order dessert but it took 10 minutes to get the menu only. I was late for a show I payed a lot for because of their poor service.

    Three out of four mains were excellent. Salmon, duck fried rice, ceviche all great. The fourth, short ribs, were all bone and very tough meat. The hostess was great, finding use the quietest table there. But that was still way too loud. Also, service was obviously stretched. Our apps came before water. Cocktails came in the middle of the mains. The server was working hard, he was just stretched.
