Loaded with Old Florida history, The Survey Cafe is a quaint, indoor and outdoor café set in the heart of scenic Downtown Bonita Springs. With a relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food, and good prices, this place is one of our absolute favorites on for breakfast or lunch. Live music on Sunday brunch is an absolute pleasure .
In season dinner are served Tuesday evenings through Saturday evenings and the French flair floats over all the items served . Do not forget to check the menus on the website as they constantly evolve .

Another great dinner at this lovely restaurant. The escargot is a must try on any visit. The duck was excellent well and perfectly prepared. We have had the opportunity over the course of several visits to sample most of the menu items all of which has been superb. We’ve even taken out of town visitors who have found this to be one of their favorite continental cuisine restaurants that perfectly adapt country French cuisine in a beautiful setting. Of course we’ll be back

This is a very pleasant, delicious place to eat good French food, with attentive service. I highly recommend it for both lunch and dinner.

A true gem in old Bonita springs Two nights a week dinner is served and it’s very good I had scallops and the others beef bourginon and French onion soup True to the French vibe service is SLOW but you’re on vacay in Florida so what’s the rush? It’s an old house with a charming shabby chic porch and now very near to the new sugar shack outdoor music venue so you can almost hear that too We will be back merci!

There were 5 of us. Three of us enjoyed our entrees (duck, salmon, and ?) as well as the two who had appetizer (snails and baked brie )appetizers and French onion soup. Service was great.

Great dinner and wonderful ambiance on the deck. Escargot and French Onion very tasty with wonderful flavors. The Beef Bourguignon was prepared well with much favor. Dinner crepe was flavorful and filling. Deserts were taken from the case inside as dinner was very filling. We’ll be back. Love this place!

This was our first time at Survey. We found to be very nice and we will come back. A couple of suggestions though. The Foie Gras didn't say it was a terrine. We were expecting a seared foie gras. It was good, just not what we were expecting. Also, we had the soufflé. I expected some creme anglaise to accompany the dessert, but it came with a small amount of ice cream. The scuffle was slightly dry. I expect the base was pre-made, which is typical. It had a nice hint of Grand Marnier. The bread was excellent, wine was decent and service was friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice experience.

This gem of a restaurant located off of side street in downtown Bonita Springs is an amazing find. Located in an old Florida style cottage with a surrounding patio surrounded by beautiful plantings large trees takes dining alfresco to the next level, combined with one of the best tasting menus I’ve experienced in the area. This is a great spot for next level tasting and prepared, continental cuisine in a very relaxed And unpretentious location. The restaurant appears to be family operated, and the service was very attentive and relaxed , impeccable, and all very knowledgeable of the menu and various options. Everything we ordered was a highlight from the honey glazed Brie appetizer. The escargot are a must the French onion soup is another must and we had the duck Which was prepared, exquisitely, and perfectly we were recommended and glad we enjoyed a Grand Marnier soufflé that was large, but light as air and made for a perfect ending as we had our last few sips of sparkling wine by the way, the wine list, while not the largest in the area offers very sufficient and complementary selection at very, very reasonable prices. We will be back. Be sure to check out the variety of items to take home baked fresh.

Friendly small cafe in the heart of downtown Bonita Springs. Food and service was very good. The owner Sophie came to our table to chat. She is lovely and cares very much about her business
