Sushi Para is a hit in the Upper East Side restaurant and club scene. It is impressive to first timers as well.

Designed with attention to details normally reserved for sculptures, Sushi Para is elegant without being stodgy.

You should have quite a time at this piece of New York splendor. Sushi is the big prize of the Japanese Restaurant since it opened its doors.

The sushi was very good. We also enjoyed the dumplings. The soft shell crab was a bit on the soggy side. The ambience is cafeteria-like and makes this a place for a quick bite.

Sushi are terrible, don't ever go. The fish is not fresh and the roll fall apart when I try to pick them up.

I had a pleasant dining experience here before. I was happy with the selection of their AYCE so I went back for a second time. However The fish quality was much worse than the first time. I tried this “white fish” nigiri and the piece tasted so fishy that I had to spit it out. it tasted like a piece that was defrosted from a fridge. My stomach was upset afterwards. I’m disappointed with the inconsistency of their food quality. I will be hesitant to go back again...

Great local place with a very small corking fee. The sushi is fresh, arrives quickly, and there’s a wide selection of it.

Although the space itself is in need of an upgrade, the sushi is top quality and the choices are extensive. We love the all-you-can-eat, especially since it includes all the appetizer options like edamame and gyoza. I wish this were a nicer looking restaurant but it'd be hard to find a better tasting sushi joint.

I booked a reservation herebecause it is self-described as high end. It most certainly IS NOT. Maybe the take out is good, but the restaurant itself is disgusting. As for the noise level, no one else was there!! Except the staff kept yelling at each other across the restaurant.

The service was outstanding, and the sushi was amazing and incredible cheap for the quality. The ambience is nothing great, but is clean and comfortable, there were very few tables so we got really good service. Will definitely go back. It has "bring your own booze" policy!!!! and just $3 fee...awesome.

Great place. $25 for all you can eat dinner and surprisingly good sushi for AYCE. Also you can bring your own alcohol for a small fee ($3) I went for an every day dinner and catch up but good for any casual occasion.
