   Pre booked for 5 people for afternoon tea. We arrived on time but they weee running behind by 15 minutes so we happily waited outside for them to call us in. They told us that we would have the time added on. When we walked in, the floors were very dirty and definitely needed a clean, the booth where we sat also needed vacuuming as there were lots of crumbs etc on the seats. The decor was pretty but just needed a little bit of TLC. Staff were friendly but they kept bringing the wrong orders to the wrong tables, just needed to number the tables to solve this problem. We waited for 45 minutes for our afternoon teas (plus the 15 mins wait that we had already had). Afternoon tea was ok - 4 small sandwiches, 1 scone and 3 small cakes. As soon as we had finished, the staff came over and told us that we had to leave, they apologised as they were aware of the issues and knocked £25 off our bill. We felt that this was very reasonable of them.

   Lovely atmosphere for an early Mother’s Day treat! The staff were wonderful - really bubbly, but also knew the menu well. One of the best gluten free and vegan afternoon teas we’ve had!

   Perfect, food was excellent and customer service was great! Only thing I would say is that it’s a bit cramped downstairs especially as we had 6 on our table and the table felt a bit small for 6 people. Other than that great experience and loved it!

   We were running late so called to let them know and they were really kind and made me feel at ease. We were then welcomed and seated straight away. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Food was absolutely lovely as well, overall a great experience and will definitely be returning

    We had afternoon tea a child’s a vegan and a gluten free as well as two ordinary and they were all fabulous. The setting is soo pretty and staff were very friendly and helpful it’s not the first time we’ve been and will definitely go again.

    I arrived early before my friend and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and probably the best tea (and I'm fussy with tea). Beautiful place. I really recommend

    Great service, amazing atmosphere, could not ask for more polite and attentive but not over barring staff, the food was lush a good balance throughout. All fresh sandwiches made by themselves. 5stars will definitely be coming back.

    Beautiful cafe full of flowers and pretty pink decorations. Had a very feminine feel to it. We had afternoon tea & were dissapointed with the amount of food for the price. We had 4 small finger sandwiches, a scone and a small collection of three tiny cakes, plus a macaroon. Definitely not worth the £25 that we paid.

    Amazing amazing amazing! Such a lovely time spent here with my mum and nanny was such a nice girly day. The ladies were just so friendly, happy and made us feel so welcomed. Food was insane too :)))))) loved my strawberry daiquiri. Thankyou

    We had a lovely experience. The food was delicious and presented nicely. The options for pancakes always good and they asked us if we wanted a break in between which made the most of the time. They were really friendly and they brought us the options of Prosecco quicker than we could even drink it. Definitely value for money and a great experience!

    Really lovely afternoon tea for a friends birthday. Great sandwiches and delicious cakes and scones. Good value for money and a nice atmosphere. Staff very helpful with setting up our surprise. My only negative was when one gluten free option was requested for one of our party, and a request made to change one of the sandwich fillings our server got very flustered and said she’d have to consult a manager as she would get in big trouble for swapping fillings. Appreciate as a rule this is fine but a fairly simple request that could be considered and something she should politely have gone off to discuss rather than make a paying customer feel she was being difficult. The swap turned out to be fine and the young lady was extremely helpful after.

    Food was outstanding couldn’t fault it however ordered a bottle of Prosecco. The glasses were filthy. Watermarks all over them hadn’t been polished. Realised it was dog friendly bye dirty foot marks all over the blue couch downstairs . have no problem with dog friendly place but when you have expensive clothes and sit in dog hair that’s very disgusting shouldn’t allowed dogs on furniture Bathroom was very dirty , needed a good clean Waiter was quite clueless

    My friend and I came for lunch yesterday, the staff are so welcoming and attentive even though they were very busy. We were quickly shown to a table, cafe was nice and warm too which is just what we needed because it was so chilly outside. Delicious lunch followed by two lovely cupcakes that were kindly gifted as it was my friends birthday. Staff are so lovely. We’ll be back. Thank you :)

    What beautiful and delicious food! The gluten free pancakes were soft and fluffy and simply amazing!! The smashed avocado was just perfect. We also stopped past the second store for more cake to take home!

    The space was beautiful and the staff were fabulous and helpful. The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced compared to the afternoon teas we have had at other establishments in and around Bath. I would definitely visit again for a cake and coffee, but probably not an afternoon tea.

    We came to SLT for a breakfast date and absolutely adored it. The food was amazing, staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend SLT. We will be back to try afternoon tea very soon 🫶🏼
