I am unable to write a restaurant review because we were turned away from Taki's on Saturday. The hostess at Taki's restaurant did not have our 6:00 pm reservation and there were no other tables available. We were surprised and disappointed when the hostess did not have our name on the list. We planned on a great Greek dinner at Taki's because its positive reviews. We were out celebrating the night before Mother's Day with family (one who drove from NC). This mishap caused us to leave the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. We drove to several full restaurants before finding one that could put our name on a list to wait an hour to be seated. The next day, Taki's Greek Kitchen left a voicemail and offered us a gift certificate for our inconvenience. I am not sure if they are to blame for the missed reservation or Open Table. My husband and I have used Open Table numerous times and have never experienced a restaurant not receiving our reservation. After the reservation was made, we received an email confirmation and an email reminder as the date became near. We will now call the restaurant directly to confirm future dinner reservations if made using Open Table.
