   The food and service were good. As this was a friend’s reunion we had much to talk about. The music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other at times which spoiled the occasion. I would like to book a table for 4 on March 22nd but I’m hesitant because of the music being too loud. Can you seat us at a table with lower levels of music?

   We had the paella, one had the seafood and one the meat. Was laughable when it arrived at the table, the portion size was very small for the price we got charged. They also added a service charge on the bill of 12%, the service wasn’t really there either, the staff did not engage well, had no customer service skills, the chef actually came out of the kitchen and kissed a girl sat at the table next to us, I’m assuming he knew her.

   I received an email regarding a new children's menu and a children eat free offer at Tapas Revolution from Feb 11th to 19th. I booked a table for myself, my partner and our daughter for Saturday 11th. There was no childrens menu and no children eat free offer. The main menu had also been reduced and our favourite dish of Torreznos had been removed. I I ordered a pint of mahou and received a pint of San Miguel. Service was much slower than on previous visits and the Spanish atmosphere seems to have diminished.

   We called ahead to say we would be late due to train strikes. The manager tried to discourage us from turning up as they wanted to close early. I ordered paella it came out 5 minutes later, 3 pieces of chicken,tasted ok, not enough flavour or portion, clearly had been microwaved. We waited extra 10mins for partners half chicken. His was clearly recently cooked and patars bravas was nice. Server was nice but quiet.it did look like the manager was trying to discourage customers coming in as several turned up after us. Within the hour after we had left I ended up on toilet with a dicky tummy and feeling sick. The paella spoilt my evening with my partner. The food was very overpriced and drinks.

   The service was terrible. Forgot our drinks. When we had our drinks they took them away when we wasn’t finished. Food wasn’t served as the waiter didn’t write the food down

   Food nice and easy to find. The atmosphere is a bit clinical due to the hard surfices but the ease of location if travelling from the station and friendly staff more than make up for it.

    We sent a Pre order in but they said they hadn’t got it Didn’t have the food we ordered they replaced dishes but the replacements were not very good The bill was wrong Some dishes were not warm Would not recommend very disappointing

    Our waitress was very polite and friendly, however she appeared to be in need of some training on how to use the till. She didn't put our drinks through the till and we didn't receive them until after we received our food. The table next to us had ordered food which she also failed to put through the till leading to them having a very long wait. The food when it arrived was overcooked - think hard, rubbery prawns - and was very small portions even for tapas. The food and drinks prices are premium, but sadly offer mediocre quality. I wouldn't recommend.

    I've been to Tapas Revolution in Bath. It was amazing. However tapas revolution in Birmingham is soooo poor. Food was definitely not fresh, had chicken and chiorizo paella with one piece of chicken which tasted old and warmed up. So disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

    Unfortunately this place is not as good as it once was, with particular reference to the quality of some of the food. Our pork belly was very dry, all I could taste on the octopus was the obscene amounts of paprika that it had been 'seasoned' with, and when they incorrectly gave us potatas bravas instead of fries, they then replaced this by bringing us out about 15 fries! And to top it off they didn't even bring out our aubergine dish that we ordered (it was taken off the bill though). The service was good, but I highly doubt I'll be returning here.

    Staff were efficient but our waiter wasn't at all engaging. Food order was accurate and arrived promptly but the food was average. The paella wasn't hot which is always concerning with rice. Quite expensive for the quality and quantity.

    Chronically under-staffed. Those who were working were trying their hardest & were friendly but a) appeared to lack experience & b) simply had too much to do. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink from a bar three yards away isn't ideal.

    The beef was cold and chewy. Very disappointed. The service was poor too but they include a tip when you pay. Won’t go there again.

    We were disappointed by the location, I hadn't realised that it was positioned in a shopping centre! So really it was more suited to shoppers and travellers as it was quite near the train station. We arrived early so expected to wait, but the waiter kept giving us different times for when the table would be ready and that was annoying. Also, they wouldn't serve us a drink whilst we waited. The food was good and generally the staff were lovely and helpful. However, I wouldn't go there again.

    Poor service very slow. Food was expensive and over priced as were the drinks - we went to the theatre afterwards and a bottle of prosecco at the hippodrome was cheaper than normal wine at the restaurant.

    The setting was lovely but the food came out very slowly and with big gaps. 3 out of the 4 of us had finished eating before 1 person's food even came out. A lot of the food was not hot enough. The cocktails were lovely, however we had to go for our 3rd choice as the first 2 were unavailable. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back again.

    I paid £45 deposit which wasn’t taken off the final bill & I had to ask One person almost finished their food before others got there. Service bad had to wait 15 mins for a drink and it wasn’t busy. One of our guest asked for a glass of water which she never got Terrible service and I want be booking that place again 😡😡

    Food and drinks were good. It just seemed really disorganised. It felt like the siting staff hadn't been fully trained. The waiting staff seemed to be really confused with the happy hour offer and it took quiet a long time and the manager for them to figure it out.

    Really slow drinking service throughout our visit. Staff friendly but not very attentive. Food was great. Bill wasn't correct and had to ask for it to be rectified to show the drinks promotion. If we hadn't of checked we would have been charge £65 extra.

    This was our first visit to Tapas Revolution and we were very pleasantly surprised. The choice and quality of dishes were excellent and the cost was really acceptable for a central Birmingham location. We'll certainly be going again.

    Food good but they closed half the tables at 7.30 and squashed 5 of us onto a small table right on top of the serving station and up against a big pushchair. When we asked if we could move we were told no.

    Wasn't really prepared for our booking, waited about 15 min to be seated, didn't acknowledge that it was our anniversary.. What's the point in asking at initial book page? Didn't expect anything, but would have been nice to have the table set for our arrival. Instead we waited whikst they cleared away dirty plates. The food was fantastic however.
