Tara Thai Restaurant presents a fine dining experience in an elegant yet relaxed setting in the hub of a historic Arizona tourist destination across the street from the Prescott Courthouse Square. The restaurants interests are that of creating authentic Thai food pleasing to the western palate in an atmosphere which reflects the values of a global conciousness.
Entering the restaurant you are greeted by a very large Buddha at the end of the traditional Koi Pond that stretches the full length of the dining room. The waterfall beneath the Buddha facilitates the integration of art and contemporary design with ancient values allowing for a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. A complete bar menu is offered including unique compositions by our talented staff. All food is prepared to order relative to the level of spiciness you desire.

Food has always been great and reasonable priced. This time, however, we sat there for 1 1/2 hr and still no food. Blamed it on door dash but lots of table came in after us and were served. Never happened to us there so will go back. But did leave without eating. Left $100 to cover drinks and that was it.

We were seated promptly for our 6 PM reservation, but service quickly declined. Our very young waitress took drink and appetizer orders and then disappeared, offering no updates. Appetizers arrived an hour after ordering, and dinner followed at 7:30. The food was decent, but the service was inattentive and lacked professionalism, which makes me question the training and readiness for a ‘fine’ dining setting. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

Best Thai food in Prescott. Quick, friendly service in a spacious room with soft jazz music that permitted easy conversation.
