   I love this brasserie and no trip to Paris would be complete without a visit. Fantastic traditional French food served by career waiters who really know their stuff in beautiful art deco surroundings. What is not to like?

   Absolutely incredible! The whole experience blew us away, it felt like stepping back in time to the 1940’s. Initially booked as a pre- departure lunch to kill some time before catching the Eurostar, we didn’t have any expectations so we were pleasantly surprised at finding such a wonderful experience. The menu- exceptional. The children ate crab, mussels and prawns whilst I went for the Strasbourg Sauerkraut. My husband went for the fish and chips ( eye roll). Absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and filling. The staff were plentiful and well rehearsed at providing service on par with The Ritz. They clearly take great pride in their vocation and execute it well. The decor was beautiful, plenty of light and space. There were many patrons and walk ins but it never felt crowded. Not to be missed. I truly look forward to returning.

   Great food and convenient location. You cannot come to Paris and not stop at this iconic restaurant. Their desserts are incredible and great wine selection.

   The waiter was pretty intense and very rude to us when we didn’t want to order three courses. If that’s a requirement it should be told when booking.

   The asparagus and Parmesan risotto was AMAZING. The staff the was friendly and attentive. We appreciated the service and food overall. It was a nice way to begin to our Paris adventure.

   We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, given its proximity to the train station. Our assumption had been that it was too “obvious” to be of such quality. We were dining with our (adult) son, who unfortunately had a migraine attack just as we arrived. He had to leave, so my wife and I simply had a half bottle of very excellent wine and two appetizers, which were delicious. We took our son’s dinner (roasted chicken with mushrooms) home for him to eat there and he dubbed it “wonderful.“ What most impressed us was the flexibility of the service. Our waiter was extremely accommodating. Most impressively, he wanted to be sure that we did not have too long of a distance to take our son’s dinner home (we were staying just one block away), as he did not want it to be “stale“ by the time we got it to him. We will definitely return and, hopefully, enjoy a “complete“ meal next time.

    Perfect for lunch before getting on the Eurostar. There are cheaper restaurants nearby but this one provides good food, delivered swiftly and excellent service. The prawn and avocado starter was fresh and light and the Irish steak cooked ‘saignant’ absolutely lovely. That coupled with a couple of glasses of Bordeaux and you are guaranteed a snoozy ride home to London. Will definitely be our lunch stop on the way home in future. Location couldn’t be more convenient.

    We loved every minute of the meal although we suffered some side effects later (oysters and potentially the steak tartar). The choice is wide and the seafood on the next table gargantuan.
