Welcome to The Admiral, a lively bar and restaurant located steps from Dupont Circle. We eagerly provide a vibrant atmosphere, casual bar fare, daily happy hour, a variety of private event spaces and a massive outdoor patio. Our space has four bar areas.

The Admiral offers happy hour Tuesday thru Sunday from 4 to 6 pm. Happy hour is available throughout the entire restaurant and the patio.

On sunny days we welcome you to join us on our sprawling, 2,000 square foot patio, which features a variety of dining, bar and private event spaces.

As with all Mission Group venues, we seek to be your go-to spot for any and all types of events ranging from casual birthday parties to game watches to full scale corporate buy-outs. We treat each and every event with care and take pride in our lightning fast response time to inquiries

After two full days at a work conference, I hosted a happy hour for volunteers from our organization who live in the area. The energy in the room was wonderful from the moment people arrived. The staff was a pleasure to work with, attentive without being intrusive, and I found the pricing very reasonable for a Dupont Circle location. Everyone left happy and already talking about coming back. Would absolutely recommend The Admiral for this type of gathering.

Drinks were horrible. Didn’t know how to make a French 75. Gin and Tonic was mostly tonic (and a poor one too). Food was marginal.

LOVED this restaurant! The food was delicious, our whole party was pleased with their meals. We went for my birthday and we had a great time. They brought me a little cake and it was just a good time. The environment was also perfect for dinner - lots of music, people talking, and awesome location. I loved it! Would recommend!

I loved this restaurant! The staff were so nice and welcoming! Our server was amazing and made our dinner a really special experience. It felt like a cool, local hangout spot. I also really loved the fish and chips and the orange crush.

The location and service were great. The food was well priced but not great. I had the saltiest burger I have ever had in my life. I could tell this is a popular happy hour spot and it was very loud and noisy.

Food was too greasy, spicy and salty. Too loud honestly for the size of the standard dinning area.pur serves was super nice and kind but just overall not a great place for a business dinner.
