   This was our first time the restaurant and it was fantastic. Great food and the service was excellent. We were heading to the Alexandra Theatre and this was right next door! Perfect.

   Quality of food really good. Quiet evening so lacked real atomosphere would have been nice to have had candles on tables lit. Service from staff very good, thank you

   The ambience was very nice and soothing. We made a booking for 4pm so it was only us in the restaurant. The service was very good and the food was definitely memorable. For those who visit at busy times, I have been told that the service is still amazing during busy periods. So defo give it a try!

   The Ark is a lovely family restaurant. The ambience is lovely as is the food. The portion sizes are large and will leave you satisfied. Highly recommend.

    Food was fab! Couldn't fault it. The prawns I highly recommend, however are very pricey for 2. The lamb starter also very good. We shared a nan, mushroom rice and a Dahl with the two starters and it was absolutely delicious! The Dahl was probably the best we've ever tasted! The only problem is that the restaurant sits under a club, so if you go later in the evening you will hear the bass and music from the club. So if this will be an issue for you, avoid going later in the evening. Apart from that, we couldn't fault it. Good choice if cocktails and wine.l, but again pricey. But all a good standard. Service great. Everyone was very helpful and attentive.

    Food and drink service was excellent, but there were only about 10 people there. It was a bit cold and they had some extra heating for one table, who seem to be connected to the restaurant, which was turned off and taken away as soon as they finished their meal. Other than being cold and watching others being given heating, I would recommend (maybe spring and summer) food!

    Family night pre theatre-great service and food. One young coeliac in our group-aged 12, menu clearly labelled and staff offered to answer any questions. First time at the Ark, most definitely won’t be the last.

    A mid-afternoon meal after a matinee performance at the Hippodrome, for which conveniently situated. Excellent service and the food was impeccable. Would recommend.

    The restaurant was lovely and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We needed direction to a local theatre and Arun and colleagues willingly obliged - they even charged my phone while we dined!! We ate early pre-theatre so the restaurant wasn’t full but still had a nice atmosphere. The food was first-class, spicy and very tasty. A thoroughly pleasant experience and hopefully one to be repeated soon!!

    Not what we expected. A very original menu. Great service and attention from Santhosh. The food was delicious. Not a Madras or Vindaloo to be seen but that is certainly not a criticism. We were only visiting Birmingham for the German Christmas Market but if and when we do return The Ark will be top of our list.

    Great location for the Alexandra Theatre's proximity. Lovely staff and thee best tofu I've ever tasted on the veggie sharing platter. Yes. Who knew tofu could actually taste of anything. I thought it was chicken of summit. Would give this place five stars, but knocked one off because it doesn't seem to have any windows. Imagine dining in a restaurant built in a corner of an underground car park and you get the idea. Otherwise great. Will be back next time visiting the Alexandra. Thanks folks.

    Food was excellent. Large sharing platter was delicious between 5 of us it was enough including a chilli paneer which was one of the best I’ve had. 10/10. The curries were good 8/10. If there is one downside, it would be that you still got to pay entrance fee to get into the club upstairs even if you dine in so that’s something to take into consideration consideration but not a big deal. Will defo dine again.

    The food 10/10. Our waiter 10/10. The 2 for 1 cocktails 10/10. The restaurant atmosphere 10/10. Would definitely go again - however the food is pricey (but worth it's value)

    Great recommendations, loved the food it was perfect for spice lovers and also those that like a milder taste. We throughly enjoyed our food and weren’t rushed as we wanted to take our time and attempt to eat it all! Only down side was that the mojitos were far too sweet for us. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

    A very nice venue in Birmingham City Centre, excellent service, very good food and also reasonably priced. We were three people and had Badami Mango Chicken x 2 and an Ark Special Lamb Curry, apart from papadam and naan. The beer, Kingfisher, was cold and good and very reasonably priced.

    Food was exquisite and well presented - could not fault it . Manager very professional . Unfortunately some of the service could be improved, I.e proper clearance of plates (they were stacking everything on the table and then taking it away). No toilet paper in the toilet also , as I came out the waitress emerged from the other toilet so I informed her of the missing toilet roll and she said “I don’t know who replaces the toilet roll”…..
