Food was perfect but service was average. Staff member in reception seemed flustered throughout our lunch. We asked if we could have a table with a sideways view of the view but even though we were the first customers of the day she said it was not possible. Could barely hear our waitress and kept asking her to repeat. We were never offered a dessert menu even though our dinner plates had been cleared a while before. That was particularly disappointing but we felt that we had provided over 20mins in which they could have offered it to us. We probably would have ordered dessert which meant the restaurant lost income

Waitor inappropriately and unwarrantedly touched my wife upon leaving the restaurant. Complaint has been sent to Crown. Otherwise, venue is lovely, food was tasty although not great value for money. We won’t be returning

After a service hiccup, staff recovered very very well and turned around my birthday evening for us. That’s the sign of a good restaurant, owning the mistake, correcting it and then providing service over and above expectations. This is why they’ve been there 17 years. We are very happy customers. Food was good, as always.

We were very happy to be there before closing in the end of this month, enjoyed fresh sea foods, and hope to visit renewed restaurant in the future.

The Atlantic absolutely delivered on every front — the food was fantastic, the location is brilliant, and the atmosphere had exactly the right energy. Our group was well catered for, and the staff were genuinely warm and friendly throughout. Highly recommend!

We have been to Atlantic many many times over the years. This time was not good in comparison. We’ve always been greeted by name at reception because we were known. But that’s ok. We were seated at our table. We waited about 10-15 minutes for a waiter to take our order. We ordered a few smaller plates and wanted them served one at a time. The waiter said ‘no let me bring them all out together’. I said no. My husband said No (louder). And then he responded with I’ll bring the first 2 dishes out together. Why would you contradict the customers wishes? The torched Ora King Salmon was room temperature (should be cold). After more than 10 years dining at the Atlantic this was a disappointing way to end this journey.
