Located in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls, near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Blossom Music Center, The Blue Door Cafe now also offers an elevated but casual dinner service. Showcasing an eighteen foot poured concrete bar, more spacious and comfortable seating and many other nuanced improvements, The Blue Door offers a seasonal and rotating menu featuring charred burgers, house made pastas, hand formed dumplings, air shipped seafoods, and wagyu steaks. The Blue Door proudly sources ingredients from local farms as well as nationally recognized purveyors such as Portland Maine's Browne Trading Company and Ohio's own The Chef's Garden! Dishes with a European and global flair are carefully created and prepared using techniques that draw upon and showcase the skills of our culinary team.     We went for dinner last night after seeing the social media post advertising their first ever small plates night. When I tell you this is one of the best dinners (especially for the value) that we have had in a long time … it was fantastic. Every portion was different in size but priced appropriately. The variety and size of the menu was perfect. And the 25% off wine was a perfect pairing as a bottle is def what went well alongside all of the food. This needs to be a quarterly night, or even more often. We would be sure to have a reservation every single time !!!!

    Had the agnolotti small plate which was outstanding along with the house salad and bread/butter/oil board. Their house dressing is absolutely delicious (as is everything truly) and the breads/oils are a great accompaniment. My nephew had the Pasta Bolognese which was uniquely prepared with mascarpone - I sampled it and it was deliciously rich. We've been dining at Blue Door for several years now and it is consistently excellent. If you want an outstanding meal - breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner - this is the place to go.

    It wasn’t so much that the food or the ambience was bad. The bartender’s hospitality was just horrible. The etiquette. Don’t lay or lean on the bar, don’t point your finger right over my food to tell me what things are, I had to pull my drinks back. It wasn’t comfortable for me.
